lets say im in the process of dealing with someone who is verified with paypal and verified with http://www.trustwho.com but on trustwho they have no comments. does just being verified with trustwho make them more legit of a buyer/seller even if they have no comments?

also on second note, what if their paypal is verified and has 18 so called verified buyers? is that good for me ?(seller)

Paypal Verfied and Trustwho Verfied only make the transaction more comfortable.

Being verified only means you've given TWV or Paypal your personal information. Which means you are who you say you are, and you aren't some lowlife scum looking to scam. It shows buyers and sellers that you aren't trying to hide your true identity.

Also note that it doesn't mean people won't scam you. You can be verfied and Paypal or Trustwho can have your damn blood type, that doesn't mean that the buyer or seller still won't try to scam. It just makes for a more complete, comfortable, open transaction.

As well as being able to contact the buyer or seller if anything goes wrong.

My advice. If you're looking to sell stuff, or even buy...is to match information they provide you with...with the information that Paypal & Trustwho(not sure if they give info).

Make sure you give them a call as well. So that given something goes wrong, you can just pick up the phone.

thanks bro for the info, well thsi guy shows me his trustwho.com name, and his paypal has 18 verified buyers, but then he says that account has no money and wants to do the deal with this other paypal which supposing does have the money on it which has 0 (zero) verified buyers/sellers

DON'T DO IT! People can show you verified links of crap all the time, that doesnt mean it's theirs. Doing business with (0) buy or sells isn't a bad thing, but it's more risky.

From what I can tell, he's being very shady. For one. It's illegal for an individual to OWN to Paypal accounts. So if he says both are his, he's breaking Paypals rules and regulations.

For 2, even if both are his. He can easily transfer money from one account to another, if he truely was being honest. But this guy seems shady.

I wouldn't do business with him.

BE AWARE: If this guy does have 2 accounts, and he's attempting to send and accept money, etc. Not only will his accounts receive limited status, and frozen funds...but any accounts that he's dealt with will as well!

Another way to stay safe. If you're not sure if the Verfied TrustWho or Paypal logos are the peoples you're dealing with. Make sure you call the phone numbers that Paypal and Trustwho provide.
