Trading a gaming acc for a steam acc, safe?

Lets say I'm trading a game account for a Steam account, am I safe once I have the Steam account?
What can I do to make sure the Steam account doesn't get retaken for some reason besides changing the password?
Also, what should I be worried about?

All the user has to do to regain his steam account is to contact support and supply some keys they may have used on the account or a CC# or paypal they used to purchase games.

Anything and everything is recallable, it's why trading is a risky business.

a wow account is recallable,
however i believe recalling a steam account is much much harder. use caution and verify the user first.

landline, address and photoID is recommended for all serious transactions.

when trading a steam account make sure the person your trading with is moderate to very repped or even TWV becasue ive had bad experiences tryin to get steams back after somone tried to scam me...takes forever most of the time steam doesnt even care because they will just make more money from you rebuying the games..i even had keys/cc info for my steam and they still wouldnt change the info to mine.

My steam acc got scammed. Got it returned very easily, I just provided all my correct personal info + one paypal recipe from a steam game. Easy as that. Got an answer in two days.

Recovering steam account is harder and takes more time than WoW. You can only email, and you gotta fill out a form, and you need something like CD key or CC number. Also, they are very quick to ban a steam account for having multiple issues

So even if you have the keys? They will not change it?..
