There has been a lot of discussion about whether or not the new verification system is worth having. Below I have provides some stats.
2.4% - Trade Guardian ban rate before verification requirement
As you can see our Trade Guardian ban rate was already very low, but we still saw a 17.5% improvement. Going from 2.4% down to 2.0% since adding the verification requirement.
We have improvements to the Verification process that will be implemented in the next 2 weeks. This includes additional security checks and optimization, so we expect these numbers to continue to improve once that update is live.
This was calculated by taking the total Trade Guardian transactions for the period and the total amount of disputes which ended in a ban. Stats include Trade Guardian free, MM and escrow transactions.

- 51% of Trade Guardian disputes were successfully resolved
- 49% resulted in a ban
- 67% of Trade Guardian disputes were successfully resolved
- 33% resulted in a ban
