Thread Profile Style Change + Levels!

I'm happy to announce that we have updated our member profile area in threads to a more modern design as the previous design was getting quite outdated.

The profiles are much larger now and have been moved to the right side. We have also introduced a new level system that scores members based on many different factors. Scores are then given a 'Trust' value so that members and guests can get a idea of how trustworthy someone is very quickly.

Scores take into account the following data:

• Age of account
• Usergroup
• Feedbacks
• Trade Guardian transactions
• Verification status
• Upgraded status

The new level system is replacing our profile badges, which have all been removed. Admins, moderator and middleman continue to display staff banners in their profile so they are easily identifiable and we have added new indicators for Verified and Trusted members.

Avatars have also been forced to circle, so anyone using rounded or square has had their avatar updated and we have removed this option going forward as the new level system requires a circle avatar.

Members that have a level score 75+ will now automatically display the "Trusted" indicator.

suggestion for me, maybe we dont need the exp circeling the profile, it just looks like our reputation, not the exp, so it will sometimes make misunderstanding

Just a minor question - is there any replacement for the "Former moderator/staff" badge?

It's possible it could be mistaken, but feedback scores are very clearly displayed below the username, so I don't think it's a big issue. We'll consider making adjustments if this becomes a problem.

We have another update planned for the future that will utilize the left side of the screen, so we wanted to make profiles appear on the opposite side.

Some badges are being discontinued without a replacement and this was one of them. Sorry.

Yes, we just noticed this issue on mobile and are working on a fix. It should be corrected soon.

My suggestion is to add a background to this badge. It's barely visible on my page.

I think the logos are a bit confusing for new users. The Verified and Trusted badges look almost the same, the only real difference is the "Trusted" text. I think it would be better if the Trusted badge had a different color or a different design so it's easier to recognize.

There also needs to be an addition of either a background or outline to the 'trusted badge' so that it is clearly visible.

Honestly, the old design provided much more detailed information about a user's profile, especially when browsing subforum. The current design only displays the user's level, so we have to open their profile just to check whether they have the Trusted badge or not.
