Talked on live chat to 1 of there representatives about a toon with Amani Warbear for about an hour.
Was an 80 Druid priced at $125.00 which was a great steal.
Representative admitted it was a good price and was surprised it wasnt $199.99.
I showed insane interest told them I would send Western Union in the morning if the toon was still around.
Little do I know.. about 15 minutes after talking with them feeling good about working out a verbal agreement (if you will) the druid is now listed at $199.99

I find that very underhanded, very unprofessional, and very schemeing. You have an interested buyer he tells you he plans on buying in the a.m. if its still available and they attempt to change the price on me over night.

Most likely will never look to do business there again.

I recommend against that site.

if that is true, you should take your business elsewhere. Atleast let them know that they are losing a buyer due to those actions. did you happen to get an original screenshot of the original price? or of the chat?

You sent this email to me and I emailed you that you could purchase the account for the price you talked to the live chat agent about. Not one time were you told you couldn't purchase it for that price. Not sure why you thought you couldn't.

What does amature mean?

2. Amature 29 up, 34 down
buy amature mugs, tshirts and magnets
A word used by those of a lesser intelligence to berate those of higher intelligence. Example: "That would be so amature". What it really means is "You're better than I am, I suck at life. Please God, put me out of my misery."
WRSE: "You're so amature."

BOB: "Did you mean immature, or amateur?"

Based on the context, amateur.

Thanks Fried, I got it. Was just out of character for ole Klancy there. I guess to go pro you have to move to China instead of doing what you enjoy:)

Speaking of which, check out this years Blizzcon shirts.

Apology

I came back to this thread and read the new comments.
And then came to the horrific realization that I read 'TGS' and though 'EGS'

TGS / EGS

After which, I wrote a negative comment that is only deserved by EGS. (egamingsupply)

The time limit on editing my post has passed.
If a mod could censor out my negativity there, I'd greatly appreciate it. (suggested replacement below)

TGS (Chad) has proven himself to be more than professional and he's also an ally to anyone in this industry that seeks improvement.

My original post should say something more like:

I would suggest talking to management there instead of their tier one support, I believe you will find them to be pretty understanding. However the super low price might have been a mistake, in which case it makes sense to correct that right away. If it wasn't a mistake though, you know where the good deals are.

Thanks, I was wondering what got into you there. I take some heat from other sites/owners, but not for lack of security or professionalism. Although, I can be kind of a ****.

The thing that I love about TGS is their 'clearance rack'. I find that very creative and unique, and in the future I can see a lot of businesses having something similar. (They may do, but they don't advertise it like TGS does)

I'm so happy I changed from my original name of VGS. Geez that would have just added to the confusion. Also is the words "game supply" special? I'm just curious how 2 companies came up with this name or is that a standard industry term? :p

I would just like to revoke my statement there was a misunderstanding. TGS has great accounts from all ranges. I apologize for the negative feedback and would like to state they are a great site and very friendly. This was just a misunderstaning that took part and I overreacted. PLEASE IGNORE THE ABOVE STATEMENT!

I too wanted to point out the irony, but we've kinda become buddies since this email and he's talked to us either in chat, or me on aim a dozen or so times, so /shrug, it happens. Every once in awhile, I too say some things that are out of line.

Good to see everything worked out ok, I think we all know that everyone has odd days or nights when they say things they dont mean or do things they never would normally. I guess it helps to remember that everyone is human, we all make mistakes (I put my hands up like \o/ that).

I guess its also the fact that as a Pro Seller you are the highest "authority" when it comes to accounts/games and everyone expects the utmost...which leads back to previous paragraph!
