I'm under the impression (Unless you have prof seller status) you can no longer edit a post 15 minutes after it is posted. I'm sure mods don't enjoy getting 100 pm's a day to fix someones thread because they can't. This system is flawed because if someone has to post something real quick before they go out, or simply posts or something before bed and doesn't have time to proofread it then and there (even if proofread they can still mess things up), there can be mistakes or things totally wrong like images not working etc.

My suggestion: Lower the initial "Edit" Time down to 10 minutes, however add a feature that basically you can edit your forum once a day (time can be under consideration) and then add a 5 minute grace period to that edit. You can have this "special" edit in no way bump the thread so if someone goes to bump their thread... And they reread it and find something wrong they can bump it and fix it and have a few minutes to reread it or something.

I really just think it is wrong if you can't edit it now you can't (as the original poster) edit it yourself and you have to hope a mod isn't afk and edit it... I know I just had a huge problem didn't proofread and even took 15+ minutes of edited and I exceeded that (Holmes sat with me for a good 20~ minutes extra getting this thread fixed) Thx bud.

The editing feature is not there because people can then lie about their threads. Scammers could edit the IMs or emails they listed and say, "Thats not me" my aim is different. Its mainly for security reasons we don't allow people to edit past 15 mins. Pro Sellers can edit because they are long term sellers with well built reputations, so there's really no risk in them editing their info.

Hes just simply stating a fact. Read the Scammer Forums, there are numerous TWV with thousands of posts and built reputations that have gone south. Working midnights gives me a huge window to read up on the forums and I have read every scammer thread up to and including page 36.

Simply put, having TWV makes you any less of a scammer. Any member here can become a scammer on any given day.
yes TWV is a screening process, and puts many minds at ease. But from what I have read, Scammers have been Premium Sellers, TWV, and the regular members.
