Some guy is using my number for an epic account

The number he used was it’s my friends. The guy said he would buy my account if he got a number to verify a epic account. Once I sent the number and code he blocked me. I have screenshots of the chat

The account has been permanently disabled.
It's not possible to verify a phone just by knowing the phone number. Other wise this person could just enter any number. Did your friend also provide this person with the PIN code?
If the person spoofed the phone, that just means in the caller ID it will display as that number. However that does nothing for phone verification. The PIN code is still sent to the real phone number. The only way to verify this phone number is if your friend told the other person the PIN code.
This number can't be used again.
