Some 5 months ago I sold an account to a nice chap from the forums. Everything went on really well, i got the money he got the account details, sqa etc.
Few days ago he popped me a msg saying the account pw has been changed. On he's request I rang blizzard up and asked to retrieve the account, the blizzard rep told me the account has been locked and the only way to unlock it was to send in a notarized ID of the account holder coupled with some signatures and stuff. She mentioned there had been 2-3 attempts to retrieve the account over the space of 2 days.
I got back to my buyer and asked him if he's been sharing the account with anyone. He said it was with a friend he could trust. Problem now is that the account name dosent match mine, a fren of mine gave it to me a long time ago and i xfered it to a fresh account.
I'm more or less inclined to pay him back the money, but its a big sum and i don't even know what the heck happened cause blizzard wouldnt divulge any details.
Is there any other way to retrieve back the account?
