Sold account to certain company, lazy or just bad

I sold a FFXI account about 2 months ago to lets say, Cutemongoose account buyers. CM Paid me for my account, and everything went fine. Three months later i look at my card transactions and see a charge for $25 (FFXI charges the fee the month after renewing), so they obviously didnt take off my information. I go to chat support and after 10-15 minutes i get the answer "Please send an email to *****@*****.com for further assiastance with your problem, you will be answered within 24 hours." Now that, made my very angry. Not only did they want me to send an email for a problem concerning my credit card, they dont have a phone number. I checked the account selling list, and mine was no longer there, so obviously, my account was sold. I have the option now of just calling Square and giving them my credit card and previous credit card and get the password reset, but thats very harsh, but that arrogant person didnt take off my credit info, and im not about to get rid of my card for one person. Would i be a bad person for taking the account back? What else is avaiable for me to do? (I cant contact the buyer) Thanks for all your help~
