Today we made a update to the sidebar to make it persistent across the site as well as some other style changes to make navigation easier.

Members can now access their chats from any page without losing their spot. Meaning once you close the chat, you'll remain on the same page as before without having to reload or go back.

One feature lost is the ability to move the sidebar from the left or right side. It is now currently situated on the left side. However the sidebar can be expanded to any size you like, so you can make it larger or smaller depending on your preference.

If you have any input on the style, features or suggestions, feel free to post below.

Thank you for the update! I really appreciate the improvements, especially being able to access chats from any page without losing my current spot. That sounds much more convenient for navigation.

The new sidebar setup also sounds good, and being able to resize it is a nice addition. Overall, I think the changes are a great improvement to the site. Thanks for continuing to improve the experience!

Love the new sidebar update, especially being able to open chats without losing your place on the page.

One thing I noticed though: when you're on certain pages such as the Forums or Trade Guardian page, the dropdown menus in the top navigation seem to disappear. Is this intentional?

Personally, I think it would be better if those dropdowns remained available everywhere since they make navigation much quicker. Would be nice to keep them alongside the new sidebar.

If possible, please make the view count color bolder or easier to read in light mode. It looks fine in dark mode, but the links are almost impossible to see because their color blends into the background

@EpicNPC Could you add a section to the sidebar that shows subforums for the games that we've marked as favorites?

The “Recently Visited” feature could work, but I feel like it serves a different purpose.

Yes, we plan on making adjustments over the next few days and weeks. This is a new style theme which we had to customize to match the old and there's quite a bit of issues with font colors and sizes. You should see improvements to these areas over time.

I'm not sure why the "Recently Visited forums" section can't be used. You just need to pin your favorite forums or subforums.

It can be used, it just looks a little less neat for the seller. The “Recently Visited” feature is useful when a seller forgets to add something to their favorites. Which is why I meant that this two features have different purposes.

I would rather work on improving the "Receive Visited" tab to make it cleaner looking or include the features you want, than to created a duplicate feature that works slightly different.

If the main issue is the look, we can work on that. Or is there some feature you want to add to it?
