Selling through wow character transfer safe?

I discuss to sell one of my chars to someone through character transfer , he will make an account with my name etc and i will transfer my char to his account , is this safe? is there a way for him to exploit me or create a problem for my account? is it possible for me to exploit him too like stealing the char back or something like this? (not gonna do it just to assure him).

You can technically recall a toon from new account for a period, its not 100% guaranteed. As a gm will see your credit information and location and realise it was intentional. It can still be reversed but they only do it for so long.

Very little he can do to exploit this, besides normal recalling of funds he paid you.

We are discussing to give me half the money and the rest after i transfer my char to him , im considering to take this option assuming that i can take my toon back in case he wont give the other half , is it possible for me to defend against this if he scam me?

Also

if i character transfer my char to the buyer's account and we both login and play , can they detect that our ip and login location are different and assume that i share my new battlenet account(buyer's account using my name) with someone else and that i probably sold my char to him and therefore ban the new account and potentially my main account aswell?
