Bought the seller's account believing it was a global account but the seller's account turned out to be an Asia account even though there's zero mention of this very important detail in the seller's deal thread and only was in a small corner of the several images he sent me. Seller took advantage of the misunderstanding, absolutely refuses to settle the issue peacefully and is extremely uncooperative so I am very disgusted with this person's practices. Was friendly during the transaction process then showed an absolute lack of good will once an issue arised, definitely not the sort of person you'd want to strike a deal with.

Other details / notes:
Never once logged in or accepted the seller's account so now the seller is in posession of both my money and his account while I'm out of $15 here. Seller's deal thread is still up and the account is still for sale at the time of this post which I've added to the proof images proving the person is still in posession of the account hours later after the incident happened. I've also opened a dispute with paypal where the seller plays the victim and acts like he's the one being scammed while he remains in posession of both things.

Actually im not playing the victim i am the victim, literally im trying to sell a good account with no refund and then some guy came in to a restaurant asking good foods with cheap price, and then the waiter gave various food menu and he looks at the menu which got nice food picture and cheap to eat so he orders it. If you are saying im scamming you, how do you know if the content was right or wrong? In your statement, you said,

Isn't it obvious that you are trying to frame me ? You are saying that you never open that account, but how do you know whats the content? And that 15$ is on paypal, not me, i thought paypal already tell you about the 15$ i guess?

Lets assume you open the account, you saw the content was different from what im selling, so you would take a screenshot and make a dispute post while screenshot the item i was selling vs item that you got. Thats what you would do right?

It is obvious on your first statement you send to paypal that you are not aware that the convo will be a third party. The first mesej you send to paypal is showing how greedy you are chasing the money.

@sonmit its your responsibility to make sure your account description is accurate and is 100% true.

Not mentioning server is indeed a huge problem and therefore the buyer has the right to blame you for not stating it.

Since you refused to refund the buyer initially, it's his right to say whatever he needs to convince paypal that he got scammed or he got the item not as described.

I've seen cases where people got scammed here for much more than 15$ and they had to make a good story for paypal to believe that they actually got scammed.

You owe 15$ refund to the buyer, you can click the dispute and accept the chargeback. If the flow of the dispute finished before you made any decisions - you will be banned for not cooperating and false advertisement.

I strongly advice you to refund the buyer and continue your journey here on EpicNPC. For the future make sure the item description is 100% valid and it states all the important features of the account.

You can see the server as soon as you enter the details, the server will be shown at the bottom right corner and it will say either GLOBAL or ASIA. So perhaps buyer only saw that it was ASIA server and contacted you immediately. We can't tell if he logged inside the game after he saw the server message or not. It's not important and not related to the core problem of you not stating it anywhere that the account was on the ASIA server.

Again, I'm making my ruling based of the thread URL provided in the dispute, which is https://www.epicnpc.com/threads/cheap-midgame-acc-100k-cp.1401760/. Note that on other thread you've posted it actually says AS in the thread title which I do believe stands for ASIA server.
If you can prove that the deal was related to the URL with the AS server tag in the title, then we will consider this resolved and you will not be to blamed.

The dispute URL is indeed correct and I private messaged the seller on epicnpc first because his discord ID listed in his thread wasn't working. He didn't want to send me the information over private messages and instead requested me to contact him over discord which is where our discussion took place then he proved to be extremely uncooperative and showed zero good will when the problem arised. I also snapshotted his thread and provided a screenshot of the snapshotted thread in the list of proof where its possible to see that there's no indicator the account was in the Asian server.
The only thing I requested from the seller is for my money back as I have displayed the good will of never touching his account or bothering to login into it so he can normally sell it to someone else that truly wants it and needs it like nothing happened but he hasn't shown me one bit of respect or good will towards me so I felt forced to dispute the payment with paypal and make this dispute thread to achieve any kind of resolution.

As an additional note to the above, the mentioned paypal dispute has not been resolved as of the time of writing this post. The case is open and under review by paypal, their estimated "Resolution date" is January 28 2019 but I sincerely hope we can resolve this way faster than that as its a simple case of misunderstanding and the seller not being clear with what he was selling that would have ended by now if the seller agreed to refund the payment I made.

Ahh i see, so the admin wont even listen to what a seller would say, sorry to say but i need to viral this case to some other gaming group, because its left sided, and not fair, which is why scamming is happening here, also new seller got no announcement regarding what you just said to me, im an moderator of a certain gaming group, and yes i know how the system would be. It's indeed possible that he simply missed the line about the server among the wall of text that you posted in that screenshot.

Your main responsibility was to make sure your thread and thread title had indications of what server the accounts was under.

You didn't answer my question as to why you thought it was necessary to indicate server in one of your threads and the rest didn't have that indicator.

I assume if you had server indication in one of the thread titles then it means that you understand that server is important and you stated it.

If you wanna get banned for a 15$ deal - it's your call. You will also most likely end up getting charged back by paypal.

The buyer isn't lying to paypal, what he is saying is true, you took advantage of him not seeing the line in a wall of text saying it was ASIA server. Nor did you care to explain to him in neither of your messages, except a screenshot, that it wasn't a global account.

It's your and yours only fault for failing to advertise the items you're selling properly. If you had indication in the thread about the server being ASIA - I wouldn't have said anything, I would instead said that it's the buyer's fault for not reading carefully.

You can still resolve this in a civil manner, its a 15$ deal and I don't know for what reason you're acting up like a kid and trying to prove anything and blaming everyone, when you're the person that caused all the hassle. Is it really worth 15$? Does the world end if you refund the buyer and get your account back and sell it to someone that wants to play on ASIA?


P.S. Yes you can log in to the account, the buyer claims he hasn't changed the password on it. So you can log in using the same details you provided to him.

First of all stay away from the disputes when you're not involved directly.

Secondly, SAYING and SHOWING A SCREENSHOT where on thelast line of the wall of text it says Asian server are 2 different things.

The issue here was that the seller didn't state it in his thread and that is misleading information. Buyer not seeing the server indication in a screenshot has the right to claim that he missed it. It's clear that he didn't see it and he stated it a MINUTE later in his converstaion that the account is on ASIA server. Obviously his main issue was that, not like he launched the game played for a while and then decided to return it back.

Its been almost a day since I opened this thread and the seller shows no intention of wanting to resolve this issue or refund the payment made. Paypal is still reviewing the claim so I hope they allow me to get my money back if the seller doesn't because I could definitely use it at the moment.
