Scheduled Downtime May 16

[EpicNPC]

We are doing updates to both the server and Epicnpc next Tuesday, May 16 which will result in some downtime. Due to the extent of the updates, we expect downtime to last anywhere from 1-5 hrs.

We'll be upgrading PHP and MySQL on the server which will provide a significant improvement it page loads and site speed. We're also updating Epicnpc software at the same time.

After the update is complete, the site will remain closed while we test all addons. We anticipate some addons will run into problems, so we'll be hot fixing issues as they come up. Once all addons are tested we'll reopen the site, however some addons might be disabled if they require significant coding updates.

Downtime will being
Tuesday May 16 between 10-11 am EST.

We'll post on our FB page during the downtime to keep members updated.

UPDATE: We're back online. I apologize for the time it took, we ran into a few problems and in general it took longer than expected. This was not just a Vbulletin update, we updated Apache, Cpanel, PHP and MySQL as well as VBulletin.

At this time, most things are working as normal, but there's a few features that still need updating. We also didn't get to optimizing anything yet, so that's planned for tomorrow and the rest of the week.

Yea thing is for me isnt visible at all now anymore, as a local mod i used to have it on.It seems only Smods see it now...

If it is so that this is only visible for S-MODS/ Admins atm then i'm not as worried.

NVM post #19 if only S-MODS/Admins can grab this information atm.

No one can see your hostname at this time and when Mike fixes the button not showing bug, he'll fix the hostname bug too.

I noticed that now when i saw kenny_black04's comment.
I'm way calmer now!

Mikey knows what he is doing. When corrected it's a security hole very hard to miss.

The 'Location Info' button only appears if your a moderator, that's why you can see all info. We have to reinstall this mod to make it work like before.

I've been getting them everyday. Are you sure you didn't change your settings?

Chrome:
Click the icon next to our domain on the left side. Notifications should be set to "allow"

Firefox:
Click the icon next to our domain on the left side. There should be a "permissions" area that says "receive notifications"

Notifications only work for Chrome & FF.

Yes, all is switched on, but I don't get it.
Maybe the problem is that I use Yandex browser (the same as chrome), but previously I received them on it. But this time got notifications from all except epicnpc.

I don't know if it works with Yandex. Officially it only supports FF and Chrome. If it worked with Yandex before, maybe their was an update and it no longer works.
