DISPUTE Information
######################
What is the dispute about? CSGO Skins
Link of transaction thread: https://www.epicnpc.com/threads/991...7-Point-Disarray-(FT)-ST-M4A4-Dragon-King-(MW)
Approximate value of property: $173 USD

Was a middleman used? Yes
If yes, who? Pinkrose101
Provide information about the dispute and what lead to it: Sent items to MM, Waited for buyer to send money to my skrill, kicked off skype because password is changed, received a + rep on EpicNPC confirming that the transaction had been completed which meant the buyer got on my skype and falsely confirmed receipt of payment.
Other details / notes:
Obviously the buyer here is mostly at fault for being a ******* and hacking my skype, impersonating me, and taking my items. What's key here is Pinkrose101 at fault here for not confirming my identity through EpicNPC before sending the items? There was a significant time gap between me sending the items and confirming payment, up to whoever resolves this. I feel like this is common practice by MM, and if its not, then it should be to prevent future MM service users from being scammed like I have. I needed this money, hence why I came back from a hiatus, and now I'm just screwed. I'm insanely frustrated and honestly, **** scammers.

Other proof:
I'm willing to prove in any manner that my skype is out of my control.

Hello first all before dealing, I've checked already his skype i.d that he used on group chat convo and the skype matches on his epicnpc . Both of them were online on epicnpc aswell.

HE Said he was kicked off on skype and was hacked and how do i know cus im still chattting to him. On his post in his thread with a local time 10:29 AM "hey, what happened? my skype kicked me off and now my password doesn't work. i don't get it. please don't accept anything from me. @10:29PM EST"

If you look at the time he posted if he want me to remind in thread he better post that in early. Because 10:29 AM was the time He even confirmed on chat that he got the money as seen here

Another unacceptable reminder from him via PM that i recieved local time 10:33 AM that he was hacked and telling me to dont make any deal. But actually 10.30 AM on skype convo I asked both of them to leave me some fedback cus the trade was done so I recieved a PM from him thinking he leave a fedback but it was his LATE PM telling me to not make any deal.

sirpeazes Its not my fault if you were hacked cus your skype i.d matches on epicnpc. Your reminder to me are way too late for the time frame if u want me to avoid the deal or you better add me on skype using other skype i.d

Also His steam profile he used to advetised on his thread matches the steam profile he used to send me the items on my steam account. DONT TELL ME YOUR STEAM PROFILE WAS HACKED ALSO????:eek::eek:

Oh and again sirpeazes you said There was a significant time gap between me sending the items and confirming payment Your buyer did a group chat convo at first & we waited u till u reply 9:42 AM and u were active exchanging convo till 9:53 AM I asked to to send me the items, then u replied back 10:13 AM that u sent it. So what did you do in that significant time gap of 15 mins or so??. If u were hacked and why post in your thread on 10.29 AM lol for a late reminder because 10.28 AM on chat u already confirmed u got the money

You're a liar I cant find any significat time gap of you confirming u got the money just checked the image above 10:28 AM I asked u if u got the money & same time u even confirmed it right away!!

At 10:17, the real sirpeazes posted his Skrill email. Then 11 mins later, the hacker confirmed payment was received. 11 minutes is not a large gap, so I don't see any reason why Pinkrose should have reconfirmed anything.

I did some testing because if sirpeazes was kicked out, I believe the skype chat would have shown sirpeazes leaving the chat, but it doesn't.

I tried logging into Skype from web and mobile while on the desktop version and it didn't kick me off. This means the hacker could have logged into the Skype at the same time as sirpeazes, but sirpeazes stated he was kicked off.

I then tested by changing the password and that DID kick me off, however when I changed the password, it asked me to re-login. This means if the hacker changed the pass, sirpeazes would have been logged off and the hacker would have had to re-log back in. This means the chat should have shown sirpeazes leaving, but it doesn't.

There is no evidence that sirpeazes left the chat, which doesn't really make sense based on these test.

Based on the 11 minute gap and the above, I can't hold pinkrose accountable for your skype being hacked. Closing as resolve in 24 hrs if there's nothing else.

Very well, but can you test that it would've kicked me out of the group chat if I am kicked off skype via a password change? I'm not lying so therefore it seems that skype doesn't kick you out of the group chat if the user is kicked off skype and participants wouldn't notice anything amiss.

I'd also like to note that when I meant a significant time gap, I am talking about between the time that she verified our identities (9:45ish) and when the trade went through (10:20ish).

Nothing for me to do except accept what you guys say, but I think you will find with further investigation that this did happen and can easily happen again for an even larger sum, so please think of a way to prevent this in the future. How that is done is up to you guys. It's not the money that worries me because we're past that now, its the next person who gets scammed for hundreds or thousands this way.

sirpeazes if u need a full chat convo I can give because it didn't show you leave the chat.

Your steam account in your thread matches the account u used to send me items also, Nice hacker huh

The summary of time gap:

1. 9:42 AM your first reply of the chat convo and you were active chatting till..
2. 10:06 AM I asked u to send the items to me
3. 10:13 AM u confirmed u have sent the items to me
4. 10:17 you give your skrill email to buyer
5. 10:28 money has been sent and same time you confirmed u got the money

Look time gap isn't enough & you're not kicked off on chat. If you're in a hurry why post in your thread at 10:29 AM to remind me not to deal anything? Too late

please understand what i said. I'm asking, do I get kicked out of chat if I am kicked off skype? I wasn't aware that that was a thing and clearly its not because I got kicked off and I didn't get kicked out of the skype conversation, I'm asking EpicNPC to test. I'm merely saying that me not leaving the conversation isn't anything strange and it wouldn't have been a warning sign because no such thing exists.

Is a screenshot with skrill history enough? I will gladly show my skrill history to [email protected] to confirm that I never received payment. Also please read that I don't care about the money anymore, you're out of the picture. It's beginning to irritate me because I am trying to be above this issue and trying to solve an issue that everyone should be concerned about rather than pointing fingers, and you are misreading and then getting defensive. Not really contributing.

I can confirm Skype does not kick you out of a group chat if you logout. You have to select "leave conversation", so this is why it does not show sirpeazes leaving and coming back.

I am talking about between the time that she verified our identities (9:45ish) and when the trade went through (10:20ish).

I still see no reason for Pinkrose to reconfirm identity as the time frame was small imo. 30-40 mins is still short. It if was 12 hrs or the next day, maybe, I would agree the mm should have reconfirmed, but this was a short period of time.

We need to determine if zurbeypvp was involved.

Pinkrose, what is the steam URL to where you sent the items to?

zurbeypvp has been email notified.
zurbeypvp please show that you paid the hacker otherwise we will assume you were involved in the scam and you will also be banned.

In the chat zurbeypvp stated he paid, but obviously sirpeazes didn't receive any money. This means zurbeypvp paid the hacker. zurbeypvp has to show proof a payment was sent and show the hackers Paypal email.

If he fails to provide this proof, he'll be banned in 48 hrs as part of the scam.
