Scammer:
EPIC NPC Username: tansen
Discord ID: Raxven#6366
Apex Legends Account: SYnc_VoLTa1c_TTV (I'm sure I got a couple lowercase and capital's mixed up since no once has spelled a gamer tag like this since 2005)
There is a twitter, Twitch.tv, YouTube, and a few other accounts associated with the user name as well.
He contacted me on a WTB thread saying he ''had the perfect account'' for sale. It definitely was perfect given he was willing to accept money for it, but not give you the account. lol. The account was an Apex Legends account
with a LOT of items on it. Right off the bat I had a suspicion it was too good to be true because similar accounts here on the site sell for anywhere from $300-800 and this guy started at $200 and IMMEDIATELY agreed on half that
when I tried to negotiate a better price.
He refused to use a middle man (immediate red flag, but I kept it going), and came up with a hilarious pricing scheme where I would first send him $17.50 as a ''good faith'' payment of sorts, and then I would then send the rest
afterwards in order to get access to the accounts. Did I mention the $17.50 was for his brothers birthday gift that is ''coming up in 3 days'' and that he didn't have the money for a gift yet? What a sweetheart!!!
He also told me the reason for selling the account was that he doesn't ''play video games anymore'' yet its pretty odd he streamed on Twitch using the exact same account no less than 48hrs ago. Weird huh?
The negotiation (If you can even call it that) came to an end tonight when I had him screen share and made him unlink the Steam account associated with the Origin account and re-login without them linked to one another. (As well as unlinking 3 different
backup emails he had on the account which I have no doubt were safeguards to recover the account once it had changed hands) Suddenly he claimed he didn't understand what I was asking and claimed there was a language barrier. Truly laughable.
Later on, I couldn't help myself and watched a little bit of the twitch VOD's and it was blatantly obvious that he scammed some other poor person out of this Apex account because the masters and predator badges on the account are something that he
definitely didn't obtain himself.
Anyways, I've trailed off and I won't waste anymore of your time or my time with this thread. This guy is a blatant scumbag, please do NOT get scammed by him or interact with him because you will definitely lose your money and get scammed.
(I also have all the Discord DM's saved and even screen recorded our last interaction. If anyone needs or would like to see them and has an efficient way for me to upload them for viewing, I would be more than happy to)
Have a nice day fellow EPIC NPC'ers!!
