Scam InformationBefore I even begin filling this out, a little information. This guy held my account for three weeks without even remotely beginning to ship the supposed xbox that he had. I gave this guy 5 statements from my house proving that I was the original ownere, I gave him all three cd keys...I gave him every single piece of information he needed to know, well I log on aim one day and he is being a COMPLETE [censored], and basically tells me that he probably will change his mind about it...AFTER he had held my account and I wasn't able to play for 3 weeks. Mods I have plenty of aim convos with this guy to prove that he has been leading me on for weeks.

What was scammed?: I traded him my full t7.5 hunter for his supposed xbox 360.

Describe how you were scammed: Basically we talked for a day or so, he seemed real legit...said he was a family guy...had tons of rep...so why not trust him...and of course since he was trading RL for virtual, I went first and gave him every piece of information he needed to know, several statements from my house...scanned ID, everything he needed.
Other details / notes: its just rediculous that I went without playing for 3 weeks because this guy lead me on...he even SOLD my account, and had to recall it and got a strike against it...without giving me NOTHING in return...not even an apology after doing this to me.

Did you do any background searching before the trade?: of course, I even seen multiple posts where he had bought/traded and sold accounts legitly..he has tons of rep for christ sake.
Have you traded with this person before?: no, never.
Approximately how many trades have you done on Markee Dragon?: 4-5, im very legit and never [censored] my account around.

Mods, I would like to add a few things

Even tho I got my account back, this guy has mistreated my account in the worst ways.

He sold the account, then 2 days later recalled it.
He got the toons deleted and gear deleted, had them restored.
No delivery on the item promised to me for several weeks.

He should do something to compensate for this...selling someoen elses account before you even give what you owe them is wrong...I did everything I could for this guy...its very sad.

I did sell the account only to have the guy recall his money on me. I was planning on sending the xbox out to him on monday the guy recalled his money on a sunday. I was waiting on him to provide me with a Photo id. which he said he would get me on 4 different occasions and never did. He was also suppose to supply 25$ to pay for shipping. which he never did. So if anyone is a SO CALLED scammer it would be him. I gave him his account back in perfect working order after I got it back. There was nothing wrong everything was 100% just like it was the day he gave it to me. He is just pissy because after being scammed once I told him I was not going to give anyone else the opportunity and backed out of our deal.

Forgive me if I felt it was too risky to send a physical item for a virtual one after having someone recall on me. But either way he got his hunter back he is just being stupid because he is mad.

for one, yes im very pissed because you kept my account for three weeks leading me on. he told me that he would not send me the xbox until my xfer was up...which was perfectly fine...I was going to give him MY scanned ID the day before he was supppoedly going to send it out...hes basically turning this around...he spent all of my gold on my account, he got the character deleted and restored, he sold it AND recalled it. this guy is a scrub...maybe this post will not even effect him..but at least others will know not to trust him when he says hes going to do something. I was more than legit with this guy...i gave him more information than i've given anyone before

I would have glady sent this guy 25$ and my scanned ID, he got on telling me he was probably going to change his mind after keeping my account for so long? it doesn't make sense...mods if you need some more information please get with me...just another repped member trying to get off the hook here...even tho i got my account back...he basically misused it and gets nothing for it.

You had every chance to send me that ID and that 25 bucks. but you made more excuses than an answering machine. And Im not trying to get off the hook for anything you lost 0. You asked me for your account what did you get ******* your [censored] account. in 100% condition as the day you handed it over.

Yea im sure EVERYONE told you not to trust me considering my rep is perfect. Keep running that mouth boy and im going to pay you a visit. you are less than 5 hours away dont forget that.

if the logs were edit, why do you not post the correct screenshotted version and or upload the original HTML file. this would be the best way to expose any falsified claims and undermine the scammer accusation.

like I said, im through going back and forth at this guy, mods just take care of it...i've posted and said everything that I need to, im not going to repeat myself over in every single post, if im so much in the wrong, have him post his own logs. i've been nothing but legit since the day I joined this site, and I was even more legit with this guy.

Seems like he should be the bigger man and fess up to his mess up and at least apolagize for leading me on for three weeks and using my gold and getting two strikes on my account.

As reguards to mine and rofljorgan's trade, I recalled it 4 times for him because he chain traded it, the second time I sent in my photo ID I told him that I didnt know if I was giving it back to him because it was going to get perm banned if he got it again, so I told rofljorgan(since we are really good friends) that I will compensate for my hunter to him, we always work things out, he has no complaint against me this guy just keeps on and on trying to make it look like im the scammer here...please just lock this and be done with it. I just wanted people to see what I had to go through just to try and get something RL out of virtual.

There is no point, He says himself I willingly gave him his account back. It is in his possession. Noone got scammed he is just being a [censored] about it becuase I would not trade him. This entire thread is stupid and pointless. There is no rule on the forum that says I have to be nice to people or I am considered a scammer.

Unfortunately we do not ban people for being a douchebag.

There is always risk involved when trading selling your account. Since you have your account back I will have to close this thread.

The reputation system is in place for issues just like that.
Just a reminder. We do not alter feedback threads as those are unreliable anyway.
