Other information: first contacted me by sending PM on the forum where the ad was posted, then continued in email

What was scammed? in game gold, and got the account banned by Blizzard for economy exploit
Link of transaction thread: BuySellMMO - Buy WOW Account, Sell Warcraft Account for Free, Cheap online game Gold • View topic - WTS account with 10x85 (legendary included) ;
[WTS] whole account with 10x85 (legendary daggers included) - 300 EUR
Approximate value of scammed property: ~30000 in game gold and ban on the account
Was a middleman used? no
If yes, who? -
Describe how you were scammed: the guy pretended to be a legit trader, even linked to a feedback thread about his activities (which is on this site and locked at the moment), I gave him additional details about the characters, then he asked for login details to verify the characters are actually on the account, and since the account was frozen (subscription canceled), I saw no harm him logging into wow armory or battle.net to get his proof, few hours later the gold from characters was gone and Blizzard sent a nice email about the ban on the account, which I could verify by logging into the battle.net and checking my account status, needless to say that there is no response from him any more, and I never received any sort of goods from that guy in exchange for the gold taken from characters or the resulting ban on the account
Other details / notes: if the guy comes forward, which I would doubt very much, with any sort of arrangement about how to remedy this situation, I will delete this thread, or edit to change the end result

Did you do any background searching before the transaction? Yes, I did, found 1 bad report about that email address, asked him about it, he said it was a misunderstanding and linked a feedback thread about his activities, which most likely is filled with fake user posts

I would give you the answer ONLY after receiving the 300EUR, else you
would simply steal it, so sorry, it wouldn't happen that way.
anyway, all this activity led to Blizzard banning the account due to
suspicion of trading it for real money, so we can forget about all
this, I wont bother recovering it for what most likely is a try to
scam me :p
