Approximate value of property: $250.00 USD
Was a middleman used? No
Provide information about the dispute and what lead to it:
Saw his forum thread and added him on skype to check on the deal, did a background check and even a paypal verified check to make sure he was clean, well, turns out he isn't.
Right now when I come back to report the scam I see another thread about this guy: http://www.epicnpc.com/active-disputes/489409-scammer-bennyballs.html

Did you do any background searching before the transaction? Yes, and the guy came up clean, seemed to deal on various forums and I saw no complaints about him on google.
Have you traded with this person before? No
Approximately how many transactions have you done on EpicNPC? couple times.
