Describe the problem: Loan for $80, had some delays with very little communication on multiple occasions. Afterwards tried just about every excuse in the book just to stall more time. Decided to start ignoring until the negative feedback was left, at which point the responses were pretty much instant until be realised the feedback was not going away until he paid up, after which he went back to ignoring.

I have always tried to remain in contact with him. Yes was some delays due to health but I didn't ignore or ghost this person prepayment is being sorted when I have access to my phone which is at a repair shop now awaiting a screen replacement.

Completely false. You only respond when something happens that negatively affects you. You ignore me until I leave negative feedback. You ignore me until I open a dispute. You were supposed to pick up your phone from the shop yesterday & would pay afterwards, that’s what we agreed upon. Instead, when I message you asking if you got it & are able to repay, you ignore the message and browse the forums instead. It supposedly still being at the shop is something I hear about only now.

For the past few days you’re “using your friend’s phone”, yet you’re responding to this dispute at 6 AM and you’re browsing the forum late at night. And this has been the case for the past few days. Must be convenient being able to receive PayPal payments from customers, but when it’s time to pay up your phone is broken, PC is broken, SIM card is gone.

I explained about my PC it's suffering from a error 34. With PayPal you need to login and verify with a text or a call from the same number on your account. Without my phone I cannot access my account. Which is true.

I would like to address your comment about my times when I look at the forum. I look using my friends phone.

Two days after having a triple bypass I was in contact with yourself and I told you I was hospital and asked for time to get better and while I was in hospital you asked me to pay when I told you alot of times I didn't have access to my cards which at the time where at home. Due to recommendations that people in the hospital should only carry what is needed with them.

To receive money in PayPal it can be put on hold or go straight into the PayPal balance but buyer and seller cannot make that decision. It's a number of factors that PayPal look at before making that choose.

If you can actually prove that your phone is in the shop and you have no access to it I am willing to give you a bit more time. Not much, because you said it’d be fixed Friday so it cannot take much longer to get this done. You’ve stalled a lot already as is, some of which were blatant lies which we both know. If you cannot get it done soon I’ll just have to contact PayPal because I won’t be able to rely on your words alone. Especially not after what has happened.

My phone is a hauwaii it's not popular make of phone here. Most repair shops stock for Apple and Samsung. So when given you the information about delivery I was told what the shop owner had told me. Yes sometimes delays in phone parts can happen.

Yes but that means a 7 day resolution time scale becomes in affect. A mod is needed because yes you hold a position on the forum but another mod must oversee and deligate between both sides so that it's fair process

I’ll take 7 days over 1.5 months of waiting and counting. No one needs to oversee it. I’m giving you an opportunity for a bit more time that you do not even deserve to be honest. If someone handles this before the end of the day then I really don’t care how you want to do it, but if that doesn’t happen and I don’t have any evidence of your claims then I will dispute it.

I’ve asked him to ask the shop for a timeframe, but the issue is that the timeframe keeps changing. Always another issue. Just 1 extra day. Or 2. Or another week. So hopefully whatever he answers here will actually hold up this time. It was already supposed to be done last Friday, but then the issue was that it was a Huawei for which they “didn’t have screens”. But apparently they weren’t able to tell them before he supposedly went over there to pick up his phone.

ETA for phone is 3 days. I spoke to the shop owner. He has had to get another supplier for the parts for my phone. I will update you once phone repair shop has completed repairs.

Then Friday will be the final date. We’ve said that more often than I can count, but this is the final time. That’s a delay of a full week from when it was supposed to be fized. If that does not end up sufficing, then it’ll be a case for PayPal.

You get so hung up on the info given to PayPal when none of it changes the fact that you didn’t pay. Neither the initial loan, nor the interest. You don’t need to try so hard to justify your reasoning for responding to the dispute. We all already knew you were going to respond to it regardless, the same way you’ll end up being banned here regardless when you do.
