Alright, About 2 weeks Ago, I was trading my Warlock. A guy contacts me on AIM with the name Naggagotmybike (Mikester on Markee), and tells me hes interested. He offers me 2 accounts, 1 70 pally, 1 70 hunter. The trade goes smoothly, blah blah. The hunter has all info, the pally account doesnt have control of the email or the SQA, but the email is deactivated. well, yeah, everything goes smoothly, then i get ready to trade the pally. Turns out, a RL friend of mine would like a warlock, so I give the pally to him so he can trade it for a warlock. My friend finds a very good warlock and he would like to trade, but the person tells him he needs control of the email. So my friend tries to contact Naggagotmybike (Mikester on Markee). A few days later he finally gets a hold of him on AIM. He tells mikester to change the email. My friend didn't realize it was a deactivated email.
My friend is also a "noob" when it comes to matters of a world of warcraft account. Naggagotmybike (Mikester on Markee) told my friend that he would need his password, so he could change the email. Which you do, BUT the email was deactivated. So Mikester changes the password to his, then tells my friend he changed the email and logs off. My friend is now furious, and a few hours later he contacts me.
I, keep track of all info when conducting trades with people, now, when I was trading mikester with my warlock, I logged all of the info he gave me, when we traded passwords, his was mickey123 for BOTH accounts. Now, again, people who scam others are usually idiots. So I try this old password on the account. Sure enough it works, change the password, give it back to my friend. Anyway, I posted this to warn you that Mikester attempted to steal the account from my friend, and that he can not be trusted.
So I hope, if this person ever tries to trade with you that you conduct a search and find this post.
