What is the dispute about?
I am the buyer , and I wanted to purchase reindeer mounts from the seller (reindeer mount is the most valuable item in game).
At first, I contacted the buyer, and we agreed on purchasing 2 reindeer mounts for 24 dollars through paypal friends and family, and we had a successful transaction.
After the first transaction, I am trusting the seller as a legit seller, and I trust the process of using paypal friends and family (even if it's used by many scammers).
It's not until I purchased for the second time, that I realized that the seller does not have any stock, and scammed my money and ran away.
After I sent the 24 dollars for 2 reindeers again (this is second purchase), the seller (CryptScripter) keeps dodging me, dragging time and not replying.
It wasn't until two days later on 7/16, that he admitted to me that he does not have any stock, and he needs 32 dollars more to get the items from his supplier.
Then, He asks if I can buy another two to compensate for the 32 dollars so that he could get supplied.
And I agreed, instead of buying another 2 for 24 dollars, I straight up sent him 32 dollars so that he could get supplied, and the final deal is that I combine the second purchase (24 dollars for 2 reindeers) + the supply fee (32 dollars) for a total of four reindeer mounts.
As a result, after another day of no reply. he chooses to block me on discord and never give me any item for the 24+32 dollars that I paid.
Additional Information:
I have been a long time user of this site, and I find most buyers friendly and trustworthy. It wasn't until this incident that makes me think people can really greed for 60 dollars and forfeit their reputation.
I submitted two paypal dispute, but they did not work since the money is sent through friends and family services, all I can get is a 24 dollar credit voucher.
I tried submitting a negative review under his thread alerting people of how much a scammer the seller is, and the review got reported telling me to come here to start the dispute.
The seller is still trying to argue me under his comment section, that I was the one doing things wrong, and he did not scam me what so ever.
I really hope this kind of action can be punished, I was trying to help the seller, but who knows why he disappoints me so much.
Even if I can't get my refund back, I would need to see this kind of seller getting punished.
