Scammed for a LoL account - $60 via Skype / Paypal

What is the dispute about? I sent him $60 through PayPal, which is what we agreed on, and he signed off of Skype and is not answering emails. Obvious scam.

Provide information about the dispute and what lead to it: Agreed on $60 for a LoL account, I paid through PayPal, and he did not deliver the account. Deleted me off Skype and is not responding to emails.

Did you do any background searching before the transaction? Yes, on the LoL account (made sure he/she was advertising proper goods)

Approximately how many transactions have you done on EpicNPC? One. Very succesfully too.

He/she also videochatted me through Skype while logged onto the LoL account to show me the details.

@ck537 If you are OO of youre acc. u should go to League of legends.com and in the top left corner u can see "Support" click on it and send a ticket, Riot uses around 3-10 days to answer this ticket. and when it comes to your money i would call the bank and get a chargeback, if it was paypal u can just login and click chargeback.

In the screenshots NewWorldOrder tells you via PM his skype is [email protected]. The same email is then used for payment, so proof has been provided.

NewWorldOrder has been notified.

Since this is his 2nd scam thread in the same day, a warning has been added to his account and he'll be banned in 24 hrs if he does not reply and resolve both disputes.

It was paypal. I don't chargeback; I only see dispute. I have opened up a dispute on PayPal, but I probably won't win that because he claimed that what I was saying was false and that I was lying.

It was paypal. I don't chargeback; I only see dispute. I have opened up a dispute on PayPal, but I probably won't win that because he claimed that what I was saying was false and that I was lying.

Don't mention virtual items. Keep adamant it was an unauthorized payment.

@ck537 Well, it sounds like your case would just go back and forth, because you both will just say you are lying and you know...all that crap.
my tip would be to just put your foot down, do a chargeback (ofc after PayPal has replied to your request.)
And i can assure you, if that other person did scam you, he wouldnt be so stupid to open a dispute against a person who didnt do anything wrong. good luck

NewWorldOrder logged in today and still hasn't responded to both scam threads. NewWorldOrder has been banned.

if you used a credit card through Paypal, a chargeback is your bet option to recover your money, otherwise you'll just have to wait and see what Paypal decides in the dispute. Considering NewWorldOrder scammed multiple people, he probably has multiple disputes against him, which is good for you, so hopefully Paypal will realize something wrong is going on and you'll win the dispute.
