Did you do any background searching before the transaction? Well I knew he reported someone else, he give the whole impression of a white knite.. but ultimately google his name/read his posts that's it. .. basically no I did not.
Have you traded with this person before? No

Just want to add, it was very foolish.. I don't know what was going on to make this trade last night, I won't get the money back so now it's just about stopping anymore people from being scammed by him.

He's banned now but you're right the threat remains for anyone not seeing this thread and had him on Skype already, the one other person who I THINK traded with this person was @Novun and I already PM'd Novun the thread link and so I think we're good.. if I see anyone else who he had a few trades with I will deffo PM them.

Reflecting on this I definitely will make a thread in the watering hole section of Epic when this all blows over, I think it will be a good read for people who haven't been scammed, who have been scammed but more importantly a read for someone who has just been scammed and comes across it. There's so many unique emotions and feelings with having been stolen from that one doesn't experience normally and it's easy to be irrational at that moment.
