I was hit up on epicnpc by user Nullitycheck on 09/29 who wanted to chat more on discord under the pretense of my buying an account from them for 250. They brought on a person who pretended to be the local moderator Genr and they had the real Genr on epicnpc message me to make it feel legit. We first went through PayPal and I paid 260 (plus the PayPal fee), they said something went wring and that they refunded it, I believed them.
Fast forwards to 10/02 and we tried the transaction again, this time through Cashapp, me using the money I had in my cashapp wallet to do the transaction and it went though. The seller was offline and so they said they would get ahold of me today (10/03) on epicnpc to give me the account information. Only today did I find out they are a scammer after the person pretending to be the moderator admitted it.
