Was a middleman used? We were arranging one but it ended up being a scammer, who I believe to be the buyer also.
If yes, who? another site / the scammer

Provide information about the dispute and what lead to it: Was contacted here, and then asked to e-mail. E-mailed at approximately 3:30 this afternoon. Was asked if, for safety, we could use MM and PayPal, I of course said that was just fine, and asked where they wanted to use an MM. They replied that they wanted to use another site for the MM (why they didn't want to just use Trade Guardian here is beyond me, but I went with it). I said that was fine, and they asked if I needed instructions on how to use it. I replied that I did, and they gave me instructions, which I followed. They also asked me to spend the 96 stones on the account, which I did per their instructions.

They claimed that they paid at 5:19pm, and I received an e-mail from an "Admin" at another site at 5:18pm (my own fault for being stupid enough to believe an admin would just straight up e-mail me) and I proceeded to give them my login details for my Dokkan Battle account. They e-mailed back and said that it would be a little bit, to which I was fine. I e-mailed the buyer (GrandPreist) back and told them what the situation was, and then after no contact from the "admin", I did a little research and found that I had indeed been scammed. I also told GrandPreist at this time that the scammer somehow knew that he paid. I thought it was awfully strange at the time that they knew exactly when GrandPreist allegedly paid.

I contacted the scammer back, and
told them that I just wanted my account back, and didn't want any issues. The scammer then told me I had to give them a PSN card worth $10 for my account back, which I relayed to GrandPreist. The said that I should do it and they'd reimburse me for it. I was at work at this time and thought that we might have $10 PSN cards, which we did not, and I explained to both the scammer and GrandPreist that I could not follow through until I was off work. I also gave GrandPreist the scammer's e-mail address. I explained to the scammer that I barely had any funds to give him his ransom, and that was the reason I was selling the account in the first place, which is why I was selling. The scammer "gave" me two accounts (he gave me account IDs and their transfer codes, but as I was at work, I didn't test them, and as of 11pm EDT, they do not work).

This was when things got even fishier, because I did not receive any e-mails or anything from the scammer, but GrandPreist himself told me that the scammer wanted $20 instead of $10 as a ransom. Which is awfully bizarre. As I previously stated, I don't even have $20, and I explained that to both, and the scammer said that $10 once again was fine. I got a bit skeptical also, because I would figure that I would have received an e-mail notification from another site that I had received a payment, and I looked up the e-mail from the scammer on this site, and found that it was linked to
https://www.epicnpc.com/threads/1094659-Scammer-LooneyTuney
this individual.

I then asked GrandPreist to show me proof that he sent the money. He showed me a screenshot that had no date, it had no evidence that it was to me, it was just a number and a fee, basically. He claimed that he canceled the payment before I told him that it was a scam, and was instantly defensive about me being skeptical of their legitimacy. It was then that I confronted GrandPreist about being the scammer, and I tried to reason with them about giving my account back. I messaged the scammer during this time and asked for proof of his e-mails to GrandPreist, and have received nothing in the two hours since I have asked for this proof.

If GrandPreist is not a scammer, he should have multiple e-mails, and proof in his PayPal account that he sent money to another site, from today at 5:18pm. He has so far been unwilling to provide any kind of proof in this regard. This, coupled with the fact this scam is so close to the one by LooneyTuney, I have to conclude that GrandPreist is LooneyTuney.

You MUST provide proof or your claim will not be valid!

Chat Logs: none, everything is in the album below.

Other proof: https://www.epicnpc.com/threads/1094659-Scammer-LooneyTuney shows the EXACT same pattern of scam. The verbage used by GrandPreist to describe how to create a payment link on another site is almost word for word the same verbage as this scammer.
