Provide information about the dispute and what lead to it:

1. Buyer bought an FFBE account from me for the price of $250 in Paypal. Overview of the account:
- Lapis: 43,690
- Units: Multiple 5*, 4*, and 3* units
2. I confirmed $250 went to my paypal
3. Buyer provided his facebook email and password where I will link the FFBE account
4. Buyer specified which device the lapis (in-game premium currency) will be added to (chose android)
5. I logged in to buyer's facebook account and linked the FFBE account to an android device
6. I notified the buyer that everything is good and he may log in
7. Buyer complained that he couldn't find any lapis (43,690) on his anrdoid device
8. I advised him that he may be using a different device or FFBE app from different store (could be ios, amazon, or korea) that's why he couldn't see the lapis
9. I tried to log in the FFBE account again to double check but the buyer has already changed the FB email and password
10. I logged in using an alternative method to confirm the lapis and took a screenshot of the lapis still present on an android device https://imgur.com/78LGKkQ
Note: FFBE has 4 different pools/storage for lapis (in-game premium currency). iOS, Android/Google Play, Amazon, and Korea Onestore. One can easily show 0 lapis just by logging in to a different device where there is no lapis. e.g Buyer could have purposefully logged in to iOS, Amazon, or Korea Onestore just to take the screenshot of the 0 lapis.
11. Buyer said that he will try resinstalling the app
12. After a few minutes, I could see his epicnpc account is already closed (banned himself?)
13. I checked my paypal and saw that he opened a dispute with the transaction.

15. In the first place, the lapis is not even the primary reason why people buy this kind of account (whale account with multiple high-tier units). If the buyer was sincere on his claim, I could have worked together with him to identify if there's really a problem with the lapis (in-game premium currency). But no, he banned himself on this forum and opened a dispute in paypal.

States that 43,690 Lapis currency was available on the account on an Android device, specifically the Googleplay version of the app.

At this point in time, there is NO Lapis on the account.

The seller states that I cannot see the Lapis currency as it is due to me not using the Googleplay version of the app, I have included a screenshot of the Googleplay options. I am running the Googleplay version of the app and there is NO LAPIS.

I should have followed my instincts and knew that an account being sold would be too good to be true. In order to prevent myself from being tempted to ever make the same mistake and lose money again in this fashion, I requested a moderator to ban me from this website.

I will be escalating my Paypal dispute because this thread shows the seller will not be compensating me for this loss.

You cannot keep this account if you are continuing down this road. you must return it to the seller.

But how much is 43k lapis actually worth?

43k Lapis is worth A LOT of money, which is why it is a big deal.

I have attached a screenshot of the currency for purchase within the app.

18k Lapis is 160AUD, or 125USD.

43k Lapis is 382AUD or almost 300USD.

There are no sellers here selling lapis currently and we do not go by retail prices.

Well. The problem is that the account is currently unplayable due to the Lapis not being present. The game does not allow you to enter quests/missions/proceed storyline if your 'slots' are beyond capacity.

As you can see from my conversation with the seller here:

The account currently requires 35k Lapis, of the 43k that was stated to be present to make the account actually playable.

That means in order to play this account, I need to purchase another 250USD of Lapis to increase the account's capacity.

Well, I am in a fix with returning this account because Gumi permanently attaches a FFBE account to a player's Facebook login. It is not possible to reverse this. That means my Facebook identity CANNOT be used to attach a new account to, NOR can this account be removed from my Facebook account.

A quick Google of "brave exvius remove facebook account" will explain.
 
IF you cannot return account you cannot keep the money too.

For me to return this account is for me to give the seller my Facebook account. Losing my Facebook account is not a minor inconvenience.

I should have not have been put into this situation.

A couple of questions. Why did you immediately have your epicnpc account closed while our conversation was ongoing? You did not even bother to let me help you resolve the issue if you were really sincere. You even opened a dispute in paypal without us resolving the issue first.

As I have stated above, people buy this kind of account because of the UNITS. You were even willing to pay $50 more for 4 extra units since I have a cheaper account worth $200. Based on your statement above, it looks like the 43k lapis is worth $250. I'm sure you are aware that the units in the account are worth more than $2000 if you summoned that spending the retail price of lapis.

If the lapis has indeed been lost as you were claiming, I could have confirmed it firsthand and made some compensation if I found it to be my fault. But I am 100% sure that the 43,690 lapis was there and I'm also sure that you already spent it in some way since the account has already been in your hands for several hours. It must be so convenient for you to claim that the lapis is not in the account as stated so that you could run away with both the account and the $250.

Honestly, if I ever get the account back from you, that account will be harder for me to sell since it's already attached to your facebook account. That was one of my strong selling points.

Mods, if the buyer can provide his facebook email and password of the FFBE account I just sold him, I can provide proof if the lapis has been indeed "lost" or if he spent it in any way like summoning on a banner for units or increasing the slots. I am willing to refund the buyer in full if I cannot prove that the lapis is still there or was there (if he spent it). The details I will be getting from his account is the whole JSON payload response when an FFBE account logs in to the server.

I knew IMMEDIATELY the issue could not be resolved easily because of the Facebook linking being irreversible. I closed my EpicNPC account because I was angry at being scammed and wanted to make sure it would never happen again to me.

The UNITS are USELESS if the Lapis isn't available for the slots to be opened up. And I am not spending another 250USD on Lapis for slots on an account that is at risk of being banned in the future because of the hacks/exploits already performed on it.

As soon as I logged into the account and saw the Lapis currency was missing I MESSAGED YOU IMMEDIATELY. You say the account was in my hands for several hours before I reported it?!?! Mods, please look at the timestamps of the following messages:

Now cacodemonomania, let me ask you nicely. Are you willing to work with me on finding that 43,690 lapis? This involves giving me the FFBE credentials again so I can thoroughly check. Mind you, I can find out 100% where the lapis went to if you spent it in any way. Even after all this, I still have reservation if you are really trying to scam me or if you really are telling the truth that's why I am willing to cooperate with you and the mods here.

So I'm in a situation now where the seller claims the ONLY way to resolve this issue is to release my Facebook login details AGAIN.

Exposing my identity, personal details, my family, friends and associates to a seller that after all these disputes, may not put resolving this issue above causing havoc on my account.

Not worth it.

I'll risk Paypal's decision on the matter.

I closed my EpicNPC account because I was angry at being scammed and wanted to make sure it would never happen again to me. -- This must be one of the lamest excuse I have ever heard. You don't just get scammed and close your epic account immediately without reporting it to the mods especially if it's a huge amount of money. Who does that? The only intention I saw from that was to avoid me.

Regarding my assumption that you already spent the lapis, you can do that fairly quickly just by opening the app from another device like iOS in this case. As to perfectly clean up your tracks, you could have logged in on an android device and spent it down to 0.

As for me telling you that you used the wrong app, that was me trying to HELP you.

Here's where you made a mistake:

First image you sent me claiming there is 0 lapis (8~ hours ago). Take note, looks like the image was taken from a phone and does not indicate you have indeed logged on an android device:

Point #1: The Quests in the upper right went from nothing to "3". This clearly indicates that you were able to complete some daily quests! As you have stated, having capacities above the limit will not let you play the game in any way. Didn't you just say that the account is unplayable? This clearly indicates that you have unlocked the necessary capacity to make the game playable (by using lapis of course)

Point #2: It seems you have also claimed the mail! it went from 99 to 0. You won't be able to claim mail items if you're capacity is already at the limit too! Proof https://imgur.com/SKqpYj1

Point #3: You seem to have also gained trophies since the number in the MENU (upper right) increased from 28 to 30. How do you gain trophies anyway? By being able to play the game of course.

Point #4: Last but not least, why are your Arena orbs empty? You cannot play in the arena if your slots are above the capacity. This also clearly indicates that you had your slots increased that's why you were able to empty your arena orbs.

I have purposefully lowered my slots to demonstrate the warning message that the game displays. I can confirm this further if needed by supplying credentials to a moderator here with an FFBE account that has slots over the limit.

Looks like you've enjoyed playing the account this past few hours! You even spent the entire 43k lapis in order for it to look legit. Your lies were almost perfect except for those images you uploaded yourself LOL

Xtreme sells FFBE account to caco for $250
Xtreme receives the funds, FFBE account is linked to caco's facebook
Caco claims he cannot see the lapis, tries reinstalling app
Few minutes later Caco's epicnpc account is closed & paypal dispute filed

correct?
 
Can you help? Paypal has decided in favor of the buyer. Maybe I can still appeal the decision if this was resolved here.

@EpicNPC CM Not involved in the dispute, but do have knowledge on the game Brave Exvius. Even if @Xtreme FFBE Store gets the account back I believe it won't be safe, due to @cacodemonomania having access to the Inquiry Code of the account, which can be used to recover it through customer service even if the FB info is changed (They may also ask for info about the account, which again Cacao would have access to by screenshotting everything first and using the info to customer service at a later date after giving it back). Xtreme wouldn't be able to sell it without being 100% sure of it getting "recalled" in the future by Cacao.

I don't think [MENTION=232775]cacodemonomania[/MENTION] has any intention of giving back the account or even communicating here with us. He is very good at winning paypal disputes so I am not expecting for paypal to reverse their decision anymore. I just hope he gets banned here. If that is the case & he cant return the account then he must provide an account of equal value or a refund [MENTION=232775]cacodemonomania[/MENTION]

If he doesn't respond within 48 hrs he will be banned.
