Scammed, badly.

I was going to sell my account to someone named "hmm" on the forums. His AIM is also "thefuzthefuz" or "Mafiya04".

I let him test out the account before buying.
He said he would have the money by Monday and I gave him the info on Saturday.

On Sunday I got an offer from someone wishing to buy the account. So I sold it to him since he had the money now.

Yesterday (Wednesday) I asked the person who I sold my account to how he liked it. Then he accused me of scamming. My account was banned for some reason and I recieved an email saying my Rogue from the account was transferred to a NEW account and a new server.

Now, the person who I sold it to is accountless and I have to pay him back. So I lost my $300 and my account. Anyone have any ideas how to get my Rogue back on my account?

I am the original owner and have never traded that account before.

Please help me and watch out for "thefuzthefuz" on AIM.

Pretty stupid of you letting someone get on your account with a transferable character. If I was selling a transferable account, I wouldn't give the info until their Paypal payment was in my bank account. Just if you sell again, make sure to be more careful and take many more precautions.

contact blizz via phone they wil give you email to mail too.. they will look into th ematter if you have sa and cd key.. and they might want fax of your id.. had this happen.. they don't always fix but if you have a good excuse they will.. can take a week or 2 though

No he only gave them his account log in name/pw. But thats enough to transfer a character off someones account. All you need is the SQ/A of the account you are transferring to.

Yeah, I called Blizz about it and I was told to send an email to the account admin section. Then I got an email reply and they said my account has been permanently closed...

Nothing I can do to get my Rogue back?
