Safest way to come back to WoW after selling my old account?

So around a month or so after WOTLK released I sold my account face-to-face to a gentleman. He seemed like a pretty decent guy and I don't think he'd do anything to get the account banned or flagged, but I'd like to come back to WoW and want to know the safest way to do so, so that if the guy does something stupid on the original account it won't carry over or be linked to my new account in any way.

If possible I would like to use as much of my real info as possible and I'll be using the same credit card, unless it's not safe to do so. I also never linked the original account to a Battle.net account with any of my info.

So, you want to know that if you create another account in your name, whether or not it will suffer from any penalties from your previous account?

If that's the question your asking, then the answer is not to worry about it!

Whatever he does on your original account will not carry over to your new account, even if they are in the same name.
