RTS Tile game? Is it worth the time?

Greetings.

I've been dabbing in creating a Game of War-ish game, focused on theology of the Eastern and Western parts of the globe. I'm about three months into the project, with quite a bit of work ahead of me...but is it worth it?

From the many obstacles I have had and the few that I am stuck on, I'm starting to think that I need some help with a couple of developers and at least one graphic designer. Doing this all myself...quite frankly sucks.

Should I put this project on hold? I have quite a bit of experience with scripting, coding, database and system work, as this is what I do for a living, but I'm starting to think I'm in way over my head.

Thoughts?

If you think you deserve a break, get yourself a break. No-one can program 24/7 and stay saneminded throughout the week, so take breaks every now and then and do it as often as possible, if you are taking them, then don't slack off either. I have a friend that had the same problem as you and thought he needed help but he managed to take care of the problem and kept on going. He's currently on 4100 hours using Game-maker and his game is already getting amazing results.

Oh, and also, if you want to expand your current "solo" team, try using sites like Freelancer and hire someone to do it for you, or find someone capable of doing it here on the forums or somewhere else.
