Hello there,
Sorry for the late reply as I was busy with work.
I don't have any issue with the conversation being posted, but I'd be glad to post why I just went with a neutral review and not a negative one ( I think the administrator can see the feedback had been edited to a neutral one).
The booster that did my service did not simply misuse some of the resources. Several items that require weeks of daily farming had been used, including an extreme gold value on many items with terrible 'upgrade bonuses ' ( I'm trying to keep the terms non-game-specific for the clarity of the admin since it could be confusing to mention substats) and it honestly felt baffling how I was not even consulted on the usage of my resources. The damage was so severe my progression had been basically crippled, as I had lots of upgrade materials saved that I was keeping to use later.
The seller did offer me to farm the gold back ( only the gold, no other mention of the other resources) but to do so I would have needed to further invest 30$ worth of in-game items to refill stamina just to recover part of the rewards that were invested, let alone all the other resources lost and the inability to play the game in the meanwhile.
If I have to invest that many resources just to auto farm that's something I can do on my own and at my pace, so I don't really see that as a 'compensation' from the seller. Furthermore, the boosting process was for 2 floors in an in-game dungeon. The first one giving the above-mentioned gold, the second one some farmable resources ( but I needed it done to advance).
The seller even mentioned he would need to test it out as he was unsure of the gear. Not a single mention was done about using resources to improve it, nor I was asked if it was fine doing so.
A more proper behavior would have been stopping after clearing the first floor, asking me if I was fine with investing said resources and then deciding/discussing maybe a partial refund.
The cost for 4.4m ( the reward from the floor) purchased with real money would be close to 90€. I had 1.9m before the service and was left with 1m after the service, meaning a total of 5.3m were used for a 20$ service. After losing that value in 'in-game currency' having to spend even more just to farm back part of it would leave me with a further loss. Sure, the seller offered to have the booster farm it, but using my resources.
Honestly, the reason I didn't leave negative feedback was out of respect for the seller activity ( since I understand how bad feedbacks can discourage customers) and for agreeing to a refund but I won't be editing the neutral one, as this could happen to other players and I want them to be aware of the risk that comes with some of the boosters that work with him. As mentioned, the feedback system exists for this specific reason.
Cheers.
Edit: whited out discord nicknames and avatars, just in case.
