Renting out my account?

has anyone ever rented out there account to one of those spam bot people that say they will pay you 70-100$ a week if you let them play your account? are they all just one big scam or is renting accounts to some of those businesses legit?

99% of those people are scammers who will just steal your gold and stuff..

so if i was you i wouldnt do it

but thinking back on it i was over paranoid.
