Recently Scammed: Can i get my toon back?

I was wondering what i would need to do to get my account back! I was scammed with them the buyer using a hacked PayPal so lost money and account, he got the email switched to his email but thats all, I was the original owner, can't i just call blizzard say i was hacked, and provide all the personal information possibly faxing over my ID if neccesary? Does anyone know what they need, or have they claimed back their accounts? Any help is appreciated! Thx.

Need the account name, secret question / answer, and name the account is registered to (you).

Simply call them, tell them that you lost access to your WoW account and retrieve password isn't working, and they will ask for your account name and secret answer.

They will put it back in your info, and send you off. GL.

same thing happened to me last night. Out of the multiple possible buyers last night i guess i picked the wrong one. I had money in my paypal account and gave all the info

it was a scammer that stripped my chars and made out like a bandit... paypal put a hold on the money so i will not be getting that $500...

just call blizz say you got hacked, they are quite helpful. Just answer their questions and they will get your info back

yea thats true do waht jrainer said but i think you need an account with the same first and last name on it so it will cost extra money also but id say it would be worth it
