I don't know if this is against the forum rules so if it is please feel free to remove. I just thought I should post it here since I almost got scammed and wanted to bring awareness to the admins here and other members as well.

Had someone add me under the guise of EpicNPC's Admin (I know, I should've known better). They were asking if I needed help with buying an account, offered a bunch of different avenues and assured me that everything would be through EpicNPC's trade guardian etc etc. I was very skeptical of this but they showed me pretty believable screenshots (maybe im just gullible) of me trying to contact them on EpicNPC and how they can see I attempted to message them (it had the correct time stamp on the screenshot as well) but can't reply and showed me that they had the option to ban users only. I was ultimately able to realize this was way too sketch when I saw the account they were trying to "help" me buy was an exact copy and paste of an account that a reputable seller sold and another user is reselling. (These members helped me out a ton with this!) "EpicNPC" even told me that the person who is reselling the account is scamming and that issued a trade with caution against him. (which further made me realize that I was an idiot for getting stringed along this long)

I'll attach all of the screenshots they sent as "proof." Hope my stupidity can help raise a bit of awareness so others don't fall victim like I almost did.

We do not use Discord. Anyone on any off-site chat stating they are an admin, moderator or middlemen should be considered a scammer.

It's very common for scammers to provide fake screenshots or make up excuses why they can't contact you directly on the site.

We do not investigate off-site disputes, so anyone scammed on Discord is on their own.

Yeah, luckily I didn't get scammed. I just wanted to post this and spread awareness for people who aren't too familiar with the forums. For me, I kind of believed it a bit because my friend told me they had a middleman add them on discord during the MM deal from the site so I thought sometimes you guys add people to ensure stuff. But now I know better and hope this post can help others a bit if possible!

I have went back and updated it a little. As the admin said just assume anyone claiming to be admin, staff, moderators, or middlemans on discord are scammers.

I was wondering do MM contact the buyer on epicnpc to add them on discord to proceed?

No, none of our MM work through discord. They only MM on the website and only use trade guardian on the website.

Anyone trying to do a “Middleman” transaction through discord is a scam. Anyone sending you “images” of our MMs giving their discord is photoshopped.

Always message people onsite and confirm who you are speaking to. If they give you excuses on why they can’t message you. They likely do not own the account they claim they are. DO NOT do a trade with people unless you know who you are talking to. Anyone can claim they are repped with some fake screenshots.

None of the staff, mods, admins, or MMs from here use discord. NONE of us will MM through discord or any other platform except Trade Guardian. If you are ever unsure if you are being scammed reach out to mods and ask their opinion we will try to help you avoid scams.
