Lol this seems like an interesting start to an original thread. From what I've seen, the hardcore raves (which I've never been to) are more oriented to people who are really drunk or hopped up on some type of drug. Lighter raves are cooler since people have conscious enjoyment of what's going on. But it is more of a party and less of a strobe-light-blasting-all-around type of concert, etc.

Either way, strobe lights are incredibly fun.

I've been to as well as worked at raves from a EMS stand point. As long as their run properly even if ppl get high it can be a very enjoyable party.

Its a lots of fun, but there is too much drugs going around, **** that just **** your mind up.

Raves are fun on a rare occasion for me. They are pretty grimey in terms of how close everyone is and how messed up everyone is on drugs; it's kind of like a giant sweaty mosh pit, with hardcore bass and lights flashing everywhere. No reason not to hit up a few raves in your life, the kids that go to them weekly/daily gross me out though.
