I sold someone an account and about a week or two later the account gets locked. The person who bought the account put an amount of money into upgrading the account, do I have to refund what they paid for + what they put into the account or can I just refund what they paid for it. Also I was not the person responsible for getting the account banned.
 
Is the account banned or locked? If it's banned, you're not responsible unless the buyer can show the ban was your fault or the owner before you, if there was one. If the buyer caused the ban, you don't have to do anything.

If it's locked due to change of IP or on suspicion of being compromised, then you are responsible for either helping getting it unlocked or refunding the payment.

Whether you are responsible for the additional items purchased, normally sellers are not, but under some circumstances which we determine on a case by case basis, the seller might be asked to cover some of those costs.
