Question involving refund policies/disputes

Hey, just had a quick question. So I bought an account around a month ago, but recently, the OO recalled the account. I have never been in contact with the OO; instead, the account was sold to me via a middleman, or so he claims, but he never told me that he was the middleman in the transaction, so I had no idea if the OO was repped to begin with or if he was trustworthy.

If I make a dispute, would I make it against the OO who recalled the account, or would I make it against the "middleman" that didn't let me know of his services prior to the transaction? I believe I paid the full price of the account to the middleman that is in question right now. As such, who would I ask for a refund from? I'm not really in contact with the OO, but the middleman should have his contact info.

I do have all the chat logs just in case a dispute needs to be made, so help ASAP please!

Looking back through chat logs, I realize that the middleman let me know who the OO was (in this case, he just let me know who the OO is by his ingame username), but it was pretty vague and didn't leave me with any contact info of the OO on purchase of the account. I definitely thought that the seller of the account (middleman in this case) bought the account previously and then reselling it to me.

Sorry! It's the first time I worked with a middleman, so just wanted to get more info about em!

3) Seller claims i'm just the middleman but no mention of this beforehand when selling account to you or in sale thread.

If above is correct,

File dispute against person you bought account from and have him prove that is the case and explain why he didn't mention he was the middleman before you purchased.

Ask for the account back or a refund. He will have to refund you more than you paid for in the beginning if you have played and progressed on that account.
Force-refunds like that is not allowed.

It's hard to understand the situation but as far as I understood, the OO recalled the account one month after you bought it. That's not allowed.
Could you explain in a simple way about what the middleman did just to make sure I got it right.

So the middleman didn't give me any contact info about the OO when the purchase of the account happened; the only bit of info about it was basically an ingame username that he went by that some people know him for. He didn't really explicitly say that he was the middleman, so it was rather vague and wasn't clear that he was acting as a middleman between me and the OO; I figured he bought the account from the OO, then is reselling it to me.

He is helping me with this issue right now as we are talking over Skype, but the OO is pretty evasive and sketch, and is very unlikely going to give us our money back. But in this whole mess, I was wondering who it is that I have a right to demand a refund from.

OO claims the account got banned on recovery, but on further investigation (wowtrack/wowprogress/wowarmory/in game), we saw him online the account not too long ago before it was transferred off. Character was also recently made private on wowtrack as well. We've caught him several times after he claimed the account was banned. He also claims that he'll pay us 300$ next Friday, which is 200$ short of the 500 that I paid to get the account, but I highly doubt that money will even come in.

He's on the paladin discord and he's ranting about how he sold the account, got it banned, then proceeded to ask how to hide his character on wowtrack. Later then, claiming to hire a lawyer even though we didn't even charge him back or file a dispute against him yet. Honestly gave me a chuckle so I hope it gives you guys one too LOL.
