What is the dispute about?

The account was working well until it was accessed by another user. The user spent the remaining 2k CC that I saved up, and as well, they did some of the new content I was hoping to clear by myself. The Seller has mentioned that the account was owned by two former people, but that he had bought from a trusted source, including a user who is even a moderator on this forum.

I don't think the seller is a scammer, as he has a lot of positive feedback left from successful transactions, but I do think he dropped the ball here by giving me an account that he said would be safe to use, but clearly isn't if it took 3 days for somebody to access it. I have lost motivation to continue on this account if I know that another party can access it so easily, and screw around on the account.

This seller can further elaborate on the issue but the point is that someone else can indeed log into the acc and it is his fault.

It is my fault for selling this account without being 100% sure of things but some stuff wasn’t mentioned by PlayingPro which was a pretty big deal. I dont wanna explain stuff poorly so Ill let him do it.

Is it possible to get him involved in this?
 
Hey. Regarding this entire dispute:

I purchased this account from a seller around 7-8 months ago. The seller explained to me that when a gmail is linked, it overwrites the already existing gmail account. With this in mind, I linked my own email and kept the account. I played it for around 7 months, and the account was never logged into once. Then, I decided I wanted to sell it again., which is what I did.

After this buyer purchased the account, there were no problems for the duration of about a month. Then, i received an email stating that a dispute was opened. Typical scam. Keep in mind this dispute was for a LOT of money (around 200$) and because I did not have the amount in my paypal, i was left in debt.

I tried to login to my account, using the email i gave my buyer, and it worked. I took the account back and responded to the dispute. I thought the account was once again safe with me since i had changed the password to a personal one. I decided to sell it again, to cover the debt in my paypal. However, I was stupid and did not mention this in my thread. The account was sold to @ulfr13 who got the account safely with no problems.

Then, around 10 days later, @ulfr13 messaged me saying someone logged into the account. Unfortunately when I asked him if multiple emails could be linked to an account, he said yes. I had unknowingly sold an unsafe account and i am deeply sorry. I do take full responsibility.

I have proposed 2 solutions:


- we wait for the dispute to be decided. If i win, i can pay the money back

- we email support and ask them (if possible) to unbind all linkings to the account in question

I am willing to resolve this but we have to wait. I do not know whether the scammer may have logged in again or not since this is the first time something like this was reported.

I would be okay with trying both options. I have tried the second one already by contacting Bandai, and they said they can't unlink the accounts. Maybe if the original owner tries, it could work. Regardless, hopefully we can sort this issue out as soon as possible.

All I know is that at this point, the account is definitely not usable in it's current state. If both you and Ulfr were having problems with the account, then it's safe to assume the account should have never been sold in the first place.

I never had any kind of issues with the account, that dispute thing was NOT something I knew about; if it were, I wouldn’t have bought/sold the account in the first place. Let’s hope paypal makes the right decision so you can have your money back.
 
Yes, i do hope the dispute comes out on my side.

If not, all i can do is try to earn the money back.

Also, we were not having problems with the account. I never had this problem and i doubt Ulfr did as he never messaged me while in possession of the account. So, i assumed it was safe.

I was mistaken and i do truly apologise. I understand the inconvenience of not having access to the money currently. PayPal's service can be slow at times.

Btw any chance I could get this warning off my account? I think it’s pretty clear here that I didn’t mean any of this to happen, I don’t want to look like a scammer, I’ve already gotten 2 people banned recently because of scams so yeah ^^
 
Nothing at all, I'm afraid. PayPal has said it can take up to 30 days, and the original email was sent on the 9th of May.

I will keep you updated if anything happens.

No idea on what to do; is the account being played on by someone else? If the issue persists then I need to have the money from PlayingPro first in order to send it to the buyer.
 
@FBUser72267227 could I have an update from your side? Has there been any further logins from elsewhere or persisting problems?

I messaged PayPal and they cannot come up with a resolution date because the bank decides whether the transaction was unauthorised or not. This means I cannot confirm when the dispute will end and when I may be able to get my money back. If the problem has not happened again there is a chance it may have been a glitch or something else.

I actually haven't used the account for 2 weeks now and I have no further plans on using it in the future unless the issues on the account are fixed.

Sucks to hear about PayPal not being able to confirm the dispute and you getting your money back, but i'm not exactly sure how it can be a glitch if the guy went on the account, did half of the new content and spent the remaining CC I have. That doesn't exactly sound like a "Glitch" as you mention.

Honestly guys, I don't know if I just got extremely unlucky considering the amount of positive feedback and successful transactions you guys have had, but I was really expecting to not have any issues with this account, yet here we are.

So to be honest, I don't know how we go from here, obviously getting my money back would be the biggest priority, but if there was a way to unlink all existing emails on the account, I would be okay to try that as well, even though I already have tried that, and I can provide proof if needed.

As I said, I don't understand how shitty my luck has to be in this situation to have two people with tons of positive feedback, and somehow, I ended up being given an account that clearly isn't safe to use.
 
Hi, I finally got the results of the dispute TODAY, and unfortunately, I lost.

However I may be able to receive the money to pay back from my parents. PayPal didn’t deduct any further money, so my balance is where it was before.
Hopefully I can get this funding soon, if not, feel free to ban me, I do deserve it.

Admins, you can set a deadline and I will try my best to reach it. If not, you may ban me until I am able to pay the money back.

Once again, I do apologise.

Hi, currently $190 is owed, as that was how much I charged to @ulfr13.
Yup, I would add about $40 to complete the refund but a deadline would be nice so we can try to manage the situation. If @PlayingPro isn’t able to gather the money I do not have the remaining funds to refund the whole purchase.

It seems like he removed me and FBUSER (discord: Natty Beast) as a friend on discord. Unless FBUSER has a new Discord, something seems a little off.
