PSA: Someone is lurking the Warframe Forums and Reporting Posts to DE Support

Hello. I was in the process of selling my Warframe account, and after it sold my buyer reported that it had been banned, after he just made a $50 in game platinum purchase. After contacting support to get it sorted, I was told that they had received a player report, and my post at epicnpc had been reported.

Just a friendly heads up to anyone dealing in the Warframe section. Be very cautious when you are selling your account. Do not send any screenshots of the account, or contact players in game before selling, unless you can confirm that they are a serious buyer, with a decent amount of feedback on epicnpc. Do not put anything in your epicnpc post that can be linked directly to your account (one of a kind items, etc.)

If a GM could maybe make an announcement in the Warframe section, that would be great.

okay in general gaming companies are known to browse forums or looking into reported accounts that are listed for sale.

thats why for world of warcraft we use [dead website] and epicwowarmory.com because only one person from each site can decode it.

You should never post details specific enough to get account banned. Be it from pictures or listings.

We cannot block game companies from the site. But if you have any ideas of how to post threads in enough detail but keep them secure, we will gladly try to help.
