I'm posting my insight and just want to post a general warning against this user. I don't have time to argue after the initial post, and let's just let this post serve as a warning. If anyone else has facts to chip in, then great, if not NP. I don't need this other guy banned or anything, unless mods think its necessary.
Posting about Brettster
I suspect he uses this modus of operation: Sells items extremely cheap, and asks for a modest advance payments. For example, selling a chicken mount that is actually worth $350, for only $150, but only asking for $30 in advance. What MIGHT happen is, I send $30 and he dissapears. Of course a buyer will not go thru all the trouble of worrying if a guy is legit or not for $30. Small play really.
Evidence 1: a person paid him 15% of $200 for chicken mount, then claimed that he logged out and dissapeared

All of the above is just speculation, but here is where it gets interesting. You can see everthing in the chat log down there. I confronted him about the incident where someone claimed he paid Brettster and he ran off... Brettster said that he gave the mount code, then the buyer used the code and then recalled a payment against brettster. We don't know who is saying the truth, but here is what is ludicrous, Brettster claimed that he REVERSED the code by reporting blizzard GM that his friend stole the code. He then claimed that the GMs removed the mount, and the code is usable again. Furthermore, he claimed the code is still exactly the same numbers as before, just that the "Thief" hasn't re-used the code. Why take a code from a "thief" and still have it have the same number? Well bottom line is I'm very sure a GM would not be able to do that. He added it up by claiming that he is sure the code isn't used because 2 hours prior to our chat, he ticketted a GM and said "Hi, is this 910382109xxx code used yet?", something GMs can certainly not assist either.</span>
I just think this is extremely fishy. Neither of his claims regarding the GMs are likely to be true.
Anyway once again, I'm just posting this is a warning. Hopefully he is legit and no one gets scammed.
