Describe how you were scammed: Drewdenman posted in my thread and contacted me on AIM. We agreed on 0.6$/K so 600$ USD for the 1 million gold. He creates a level 1 toon to get guild bank control, I give him then he logs off wow and aim. He still shows as online on epicnpc but not on AIM anymore.

I talked to me, he put me on ignore ingame and kicked me off the guild.
Either Drewman is a scammer or he got his AIM/EpicNPC hacked

I am afraid this is not possible, I made a second AIM account to see if he was still online or if he only had me blocked.
Is there some way to get a screenshot of them that I don't know? I just saved the logs in a word file.

Good idea.
I tried to contact him in game without success, I instantly get ignored. He (Or the hacker) is leveling the char so he can transfer the guild bank out of the server.

I will try to check this again later tonight and reply to the thread as well as see if my passwords were affected.

What I can tell you right now is I am on leave until April 10th (When I go back to Germany) and this is not my main concern. I understand if this upsets you, but my newborn son and wife come first. Looking at my email, I can tell you it has been accessed by someone other than me (gmail shows IP jumps, and there's IP showing up that starts with 12.234 and 216.49 which is saying it's from Kansas).
As for AIM, I used it about 3-4 weeks ago to purchase several SWTOR keys from some mmobay members (had them on my friends list). I bought 2 or 3 cdkeys from Joeuni22 (an active member on the forums), using my PayPal (which I just checked, no illegal charges to it an changed the password just in case). I can tell you that.

I haven't used the forums since January when I was selling Legendary Rogue daggers. Please put that in the scammer thread as well (that email I posted, or all of these rather). I am going to email this person back as well and tell him no to deal with me.

It appears my EpicMMO account has been hacked. I am talking to another user on Skype right now that someone has scammed using my EpicMMO and AIM account, they also had access to my email (can see the IP logs). Please do not deal with me at all for buying or selling gold.

just scammed me out of $250, i was trying to sell 1 million gold for $500 and wanted to use multiple payment and he would only settle for two payments... spent around 30 minutes making a guild, gave him GM, and deposited 500k gold... he kicked me out of the guild and logged off and has made no payment.

Your post is a good 9 hours before I got scammed by the same person and he states that he is changing his passwords, etc. He got hacked... yea right. Obviously a bunch of BS. I wonder how many times this guy has gotten busted scamming here and still isn't banned?

March 22nd - March 25 - Kansas US
Feb 20 - Dec 2011 - US Military IP

drewdenman IP address from late 2011 until Feb 20th, shows a consistent Military IP. Assuming that was him, his last activity was Feb 20th.

The next login is March 22 from Kansas.

It's hard to determine whether or not that's him, since members in the Military tend to have a lot of different IPs.

Regardless, the rule has always been if your account is used in a scam, you are responsible. If drewdenman wants to return in the future, he'll have to resolve this thread.
