Possible MM scammed me?

I did not follow the proper safety guidelines that EPICNPC provides and tells you to follow so I know I am accountable but this is the skype convo followed by the loss of the 50$ card. Here is the info as follows -

As far I can see the Geek never used that skype. He does have multiple imposters. I have known him a long time and looking back at my records his skype was Hack0si and I confirmed this with another mod. Did he contact you at all through the site?

I'm pretty sure it was a fake because he had no activity around the game at all.. So I assume.

So this particular Skype should be looked out for? I'll be having anyone else in the future send me a PM on epicnpc before I believe them.

Yeah it should be apears they downloaded his picture off the site. I cannot get an ip off the skype but it does not appear to be used here.

I don't see him ever using the Skype 'geeknpc' and he hasn't been online here in 5 days, so that is almost certainly an impostor.
