Brought a wow account and paid extra for buyer protection 2 days later the account was reclaimed ,i got in touch with blizzard who sent me an email saying the account had been reclaimed . I forwarded this to player auctions thinking that was pretty much me covered but no i just kept getting emails asking me to prove the account had been reclaimed .
This was blizzard
Following our live chat I checked and the account that previously had the email xxxxxx was claimed and returned to its original owner and its active, if you paid money for this account and services on it please contact your payment provider and ask for a chargeback of your money.

and this is the reply from playerauctions
Thank you for getting back to us.
Please be informed that for us to start investigating your Insurance claim we need compelling evidences that the game account was indeed reclaimed by the original owner.
so i'm still waiting for a refund and not sure what evidence would be more compelling than an email from blizzard support so don't bother with this site as anything you buy is only safe until your payment clears because after that they don't care.

Hi Gazza. I'm sorry to hear about what happened with your purchase. That must've been stressful.

If you'd like me to look into your case, please PM me the order ID, and if you have the ticket number, that would also help. I'll check on it and see if there's anything that can be done for you.

Lol got a similar reply on another review site sent the details again and now nothing and still waiting. Don't be fooled by replies you see to reviews as they don't actually mean anything.

Hey Gazza. Replied to your dispute thread just now. We've also sent replies to your SiteJabber review as well as on your ticket thread.

I sincerely hope you'll be pleased to know that your refund is successfully processed. We're very sorry again for all the hassle.

Playerauctions I highly suggest you don't post on this website. After the terrible service you provided, I am making sure that everyone on these forums are aware of the shady stuff you do behind customers backs.

From my thread:

Thread URL: https://www.epicnpc.com/threads/1209314-My-Playerauctions-experience

I made a $200 purchase for bulk League of Legends accounts on the website "playerauctions". From a seller with over 10,000 feedback. I was told many excuses on why he couldnt deliver it right away (You get 3 days to deliver the accounts on the website) and found out days later I was scammed by one of there top sellers. None of the accounts he sent me worked and he never changed any emails.

So I contact there customer support. About two months later I finally get a response. What do they say? They told me the seller did not respond to there message so they can not help me. I created 4-5 new follow up requests. After weeks I finally got a response saying the exact same thing. All my new tickets were instantly blocked and declined.

-$200 from playerauctions. Save your time and money guys.

You can see at the bottom of the last picture that the request was closed. You guys close all requests regarding this dispute without a reply. Unbelievable.

Yea I lost 6x Everquest 2 Accounts several years ago over $1200 worth from being reclaimed and they said nothing they could do me even showing a screenshot talking to a gm in a petition proving this. Oh well won’t get my money anymore.they should be banned here.

Well, private messages are called as such because they are, so the whole of EpicNPC can't see the people we assist there. Also, as long as I'm called on dispute threads, I make it a priority to address it as well.

Your customer service is awful. Essentially to get your "warranty" to work on an account that was recalled - I had to trick the seller into providing me proof that he recalled, despite your "warranty" saying that the seller would provide some sort of protection - but the burden lies on those who get scammed to provide a literal statement that they scammed you for your people to move anything.

PlayerAuctions is hands down the most difficult site to work with and I absolutely say UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD ANYONE BUY THEIR SO-CALLED PROTECTION. It's a waste of money and causes you the buyer to literally have to fight tooth and nail for anything to happen - and even then it's questionable if PlayerAuctions will do anything. They did the same to me as LeagueShack - where they would prematurely close the support tickets and basically tell you "tough crap".

Just my 2 cents, but STAY AWAY!

Hello Odin. I won't contest that the burden of proof is with the buyer, because as complicated and difficult as it sounds, that's what we have set in our policies and it's also stated in our website (buyer protection page as well as the notification in purchasing the insurance). Buying accounts will always entail a risk, and one of the reasons why we cannot approach publishers to help you with that is because they block us out since they have always prohibited account selling from their side.

In case you decide to use our services again in the future, just message me anytime if I can be of help. I'm really sorry to hear about what happened with your transaction.
