I purchased a banner, and the default banner normally appears more often, which negates the value of my investment. I plan to purchase banners in 30 more categories, but if this continues, I won't get full value for my money.

Each banner location can have up to 4 banners in rotation. When you purchase one, you receive 25% of the impressions, not 100%. You can purchase more than 1 in the same location to increase how often your banner ad appears.
