Opening a Dispute

Hi, for some reason I am unable to create a dispute. I was wondering if there was some sort of requirement, or verification I may need to go through? I had just been scammed by someone who apparently had bad reviews under some other posts, but was never marked out to be a scammer. I wanted to go create a dispute to see if I could receive any help, but I don't have the privileges to do so. Thanks in advance!

Go to Trade Guardian > History or Active Transactions and click the 'report' button.

If TG was not used, please give the user negative feedback.
TG was not used, however, there has been multiple prior negative feedback towards the seller in question before I had made my purchase and got scammed myself. It's quite obvious that negative feedback has little to no effect resolving the issue and disciplining the account in question. I've also noticed that some of the support staff do handle specific Non-TG disputes. What happened to that?

My concern is that even with prior negative feedbacks, this person is still able to freely "sell" products, without a *Trade with caution* warning next to their name. I don't want this to happen to another person.

I've contacted the person, on EPICNPC, that left the negative review under the seller's posts to see if their issue with the seller had been resolved, as stated by the seller (Vinicol). Other reviewer stated the issue was never resolved and that he asked for the negative review to be deleted due to internal problems. Chat history between me and Vinicol is from discord and I understand you guys will not investigate chat histories not under EpicNPC.

I'm sorry, we do not investigate if Trade Guardian is not used.

I reviewed the account and do not see anything that shows this user is a known scammer or previously banned member. We cannot ban based on 2 negative feedbacks, sorry.

May I ask what the deciding factor is when it comes to reviewing feedback and then making a decision based on what the feedback states? There’s screenshots within the feedback reviews that two buyers (one of them being me), sent money for an advertised product, and that product was never given to us, seller completely ghosts the buyers, and then a few days later, asks for the feedback to be deleted. Something just doesn’t sound right with his story. I’m hoping that this can be cleared up, because what’s going to stop him if he’s already freely scammed two people. Regardless, thanks for your replies. I appreciate it.

It takes about 5-10 times longer to review a dispute that occurred offsite as it does if Trade Guardian is used.

Can I ask why you're not contacting Discord and asking them to investigate this?

We are not going to force people to use Trade Guardian, but if you do not, we will not investigate. Sorry.

I understand completely. I’m currently in contact with Discord Support as well. Thank you for your help and insight, I truly appreciate it. TC

If you have sufficient evidence to support your claim, I will review your case. If you communicated on our website, please provide the user's PayPal or other email address. Send me a private message with this information, and I will look into your case. Be aware that I will not review any discord chat logs as it is really easy to impersonate, thanks.

The chat logs I had with the seller were mainly through Discord, hence why I never sent you a DM in order to proceed with the investigation. However, following up, he seems to be gone from these pages and has moved to another third party selling site, which I will not name. I think this is a win.
