Could you add more options? I use 50 posts per page on all vbulletin forums.
Maximum of 15 is too low for me, especially when many posts in threads are just bumps.
 
Hey the other day I was trying to sell some FIFA 15 coins and the only forum I could find was pretty much dead so it left me wondering if it's possible for you to create a new section under console gaming for Selling/Buying Fifa coins some along the lines of (FIFA 15 Coin Buy/Selling) then 2 sub sections for PS3/4 and Xbox 360/One just an idea
 
I meant a different forum I didn't know you already had one I looked multiple times on here for a section but I automatically assumed it would be under console gaming my bad
 
Try using the "Game Search" field when looking for a specific game. we have over 400 game forums so it's easier to find a specific game using that. Its a the top of any forum under the top banner ad in orange.
 
Could you make a strikethrough BB code?
It's useful when you have a list of items that you sell, to 'remove' the ones that are sold.

Like sold item name description price.
 
I've tried adding it multiple times and it never worked. I couldn't figure out if I was doing something wrong or it was a bug, but I just tried again and it's working so you can now use strike.
 
There should be some way to replace a sticky thread with some other, for those who have bought them.

Currently, if I want to change a sticky thread, I have to either:
1) PM you, which can take hours if it's night in the US :D
2) or edit the thread content and title, which will leave the comments from the old thread and delete the previous content.

Two ideas come to mind:

One way is to turn sticky threads into links that will redirect to some URL (which has to be a thread on epicnpc), and the owner should be able to edit the thread title and redirection url.

Another way is to give the owner a special permission, which will allow him to make his own threads sticky in a specified category, or remove them, with a limit of how many threads can be sticked (same number as amount of ads bought).
 
I think PMing me your new URL is the easiest way. A few hours to switch out the sticky threads is very little time when you consider the threads are purchased for a month at time.

Both suggests would require a large change in the way sticky threads work, so unfortunately I'll have to pass on this suggestion.
 
Mike, can you add deal price to feedback? When you will check user's feedback you will see there total price of EpicPNP activity.
 
Have you see the same russian marketplace site? I made there thread for selling acc. I think that they're copying EpicNPC, for example, chat service which added though 1-2 weeks after EpicNPC? I wanted to say that there is just one middleman - Admin, that's him official work. You're do not want to become EpicNPC trust face, Mike?
 
When you select mark as sold in a WTB thread, it should change it to BOUGHT instead of SOLD.
Or maybe add another button 'mark as bought'.

Members can have 3 threads on the first page of any forum. If they have multiple beta keys and make 3 separate threads for each game, that's not against the rules.

Not sure what can be done other than to change the 3 max thread rule
 
hi,

i really like the idea and size of the new steam status icon, all my steam buyer can add me ezily now on steam.

i was wondering, is it possible to make a "add me to skype button" (maybe a standard epicnpc skype button), the same size similar to the steam one directly below it where we can just add our skype id to it.

i think with this, it will standardize how and where member on epicnpc could find and add a seller to avoid confusion and imposer.

i personally find the small little add me on skype button we are having now quite useless. most of my buyer dun even know it exist due to it size and shape like a bean
 
Members can click the right side of the mini-steam profile and it shows 8 different options, one of which is to add the user on Steam, so they can already do that.

I'll update the Skype icon when I get a chance so it looks more like Skype.
 
Suggestion: Perhaps an auction style format would be possible, allowing sellers to designate a time limit, and a minimum, and a bidding system.

I noticed that the feedback list displays the same amount of feedbacks before splitting them as the number specified in the number of posts per page option.
It should always display 50 or more, regardless of that setting, since they don't take too much space. And it looks nicer. :D
 
Thread enhancements in inventory should say which thread is affected.

I want to sell one of them, but I don't know which one is the one I want. :D
It is easy to figure out in this example, I can just disable one and check which one lost the color. But if I have 20 for example, it will probably be a pain to figure out which is which.

I went throught all of the suggestions and I like the idea of achievements. That's my favorite part in any steam game ;) That would be nice to have.
Also the middleman thing is also great. Allowing to people with 1 year or more registration date to be middleman is cool. I would give up my badge for that ;)
 
Not sure if this right or not but suggesting only to become the epicnpc community to be more happy, participate in some occasional event.
The site is now more secure, more innovations this year. But would it be better this x'mas time to give us some simple gift of happiness for having a contest/giveaway for free 1 million or thousands of credits etc, or to grab something free on store, Free Pro Seller Upgrade or any idea. Spread the spirit of X'mas fun and for thanksgiving this year ;) ;)

Hey!

The "Search" window at the top of the forum, when entering a username, only finds that username if there is a post listing his name.
I've also tried the advanced function and added a name under "User name:", a newly created account (buyer of mine) with only 2 posts and I got no results. So from what I can see, it doesn't work as far as searching for users goes. Unless there is another way to go through the searching process faster.

Also, I go through the "Reviews, Disputes and Scammers" forum often just to get a sense of what's going on. What I've noticed is that many people get banned, for obvious reasons. I've discovered that some - if not many - get banned without having a dispute or a scam post made on their name open. This leads to seeing banned people inside threads but not knowing why they got banned. This also affects sellers that have posts inside their thread done by people that are now BANNED because possible customers see them and they don't know wether or not their ban is in any way related to that thread or seller. Not having a negative feedback is not enough as far as this goes.

Suggestions:
1. Make search function work so that it finds usernames and so that it leads to that username's profile.
2. Add a sub-tab, like "User's legal informations" - or something of sorts - where mods/admins can post a reason for the suspension and/or link to the dispute thread. subtab.jpg

New posts/threads aren't indexed in real-time, there is a 60 min delay to cut down on server load. So if your friends account was new, that's probably why it didn't show up.

I tested search by username and it works, it was probably just the delay.

Also I would recommend going to the usernamer profile page, it has better search options there for individual users. Search by Threads, Search By Posts, these both have a 60 min delay, but Recent Activity is instant.

Our ban list is public and already lists the reason someone was banned

Below are the general reasons why someone is banned or their account closed

Banned account = scamming, spam or breaking forum rules even after warning
Closed account = multiple accounts or requested by user

What about adding 7-days of Epic Member/Epic Verified trial-period for 1 cent? If users will like it they will buy it. Everyone will have a chance to test it.
 
I'm not sure what the point of offering a trial would be. I think it we had a 7 day trial for .01 it would lead to a lot of abuse by scammers and members who will try upgrading, then will get banned. .01 is no risk so scammers would be able to try unlimited amount of times without any worry.
 
Sorry, but I don't like that idea, I think it would cause too many problems with scammers trying to take advantage. It's a $3 and $10 payment, there's really no need to a trial period considering how cheap the membership is.
 
Yea, but, for example, in Ukraine $10 is like a 200 UAH. I can buy 50 loaves of bread for 10 USD, you too?
 
Add a talk sub forum for world of tanks.
 
We had a 'talk' forum for WoT and many other games for about a year and almost none of them became active. After a year all were removed except for a few, I'm not convinced adding 'talk' forums would work this time around either.

Maybe WoT wasn't a popular game back then? I agree about the other games, but the WoT forum looks a lot more popular now, and there is a lot to talk about since the game is pretty complex.
 
I'm going to pass, even our most popular games like WoW, LoL and Dota2 where the Talk forums were kepts, there's still very little activity in those. WoT has a lot less traffic then those 3 games, so I doubt it would be very active even now.
 
Maybe if you add a (colored) "Posting in this forum earns you additional epic credits." message to the descriptions of the talk forums, it will become more active?
Many don't know about that.
 
I have a suggestion about feedback system. You see when I ask someone to submit feedback and give them a direct link to feedback submission they get stuck on the trade url and from there on they think they need to go to the trade page and just leave a comment there. I don't know if its just my customers who have issues with reading on how to submit a feedback, but it would be really great if there was liek a feedback button on every started thread, where the buyer would only clcik like "Buyer/Trade,Experience +1 and a short comment" If it's possible and easy to do I would really appreciate such feature.
 
I could go step forward and add a accept / decline trade. If two peoples want to make a trade / sell etc, there could be a button on each trade thread.
i.e:
I saw your thread and want to buy. Clicking trade invite button located on specific thread. Now seller after chat / talks can click accept either decline trade.
Now no1 can say i have never talk or traded with you even when no skype ect wasn't involved. Here's proof you did accepted the trade.
And only after both accepted the deal "give feedback" option is allowed.
So it could be on same trade / feedback page. If one side didn't accepted the deal, second person can't add any feedback.


Something like that.
 
The 'new posts since last visit' arrow button is only displayed in search results, but not on the actual thread.
