notification for new threads in a forum?

Yes and no.
On the homepage above the game search box you'll see these links.
"MMORPG - MOGs - Shooters - Mobile - Sports & Casino"
Click the one you want, then find the forum you want. Click the "green" dot next to the forum name and it will ask you what type of notification you want to receive.
You can only get a daily or weekly notification, not an email for every new thread since that would create way too much email traffic. Control panel is an on-site notification only, no email.
You can setup an RSS feed using the RSS link. That's probably the best way to do it.
