Not a good idea in my opinion. The victim would probably only give you permission to say something in their favor, I dont think they would give you permission so you can say something that would go against them. We keep this rule up because adding people into the mix just confuses people and starts problems.

that thread has 62 posts in it. having someone that is not involved in the situation post in the thread clutters it and confuses people. Seeing your name in the thread due to your posts, I was then trying to re-read every post to see how you were involved, thinking i had missed something, come to find out, you werent.
I have read EVERY scam thread up to page 134, over the past few months, during my downtime at work. I have never posted in a thread, due to the rule being in place, EVEN when i saw something a mod didnt see. So, with that being said, if every other member (even members that have been here over 2 years) have to follow the rules, you should abide by them as well.

THe main problem is that I spend about 2 hrs each day reading scam threads. If we allowed other people not involved to post, those threads would go from 1-2 pages to 4-5 pages easily. I don't have 5 hrs each day to read through threads, especially if the people posting aren't involved. Its easier/faster to resolve these threads the less posts that are in there. This rule will never change, sorry.
It's not that I don't want to abid by the rules, it's just that sometimes I see it as "If a kid is getting bullied and you see it happening but choose to walk the other direction and not look back, and the next day the kid turns up in a hospital badly beaten, you always get that feeling of "what if I did something, would he then be okay feeling.""

you could try bringing it to the attention of the person it directly affects, via AIM, or PM. They could then post it, or PM it to a mod.

You've been around since OCT, and voice your thoughts on almost every thread, which leads me to beleave you have been around here far longer than what your new join up date is.
But since you obviously can out troll me when i havent been very active since Oct at the least, im curious who you really are to make that statement...

You can ask anyone whos messaged me about an issue ever if theyve found me to be less than reseptive. Im just not going to beat my heaf against the wall trying to validate a point thats been priven over and over yet some people still wont see it.
