I am making this post in order to have a chance to give my side of the story from being banned on markee dragon in march 2009 user name Daytrader and now on epicnpc user name Njdevilz1.


I was strictly buying/selling /trading WoW accounts.
I was banned without given the opportunity to respond to any allegations, at that time , I did not check or log into my markee dragon account on a daily basis , and my account was closed before I was able to give my side of the story.



I purchased an account from member xcess303.
To be 100% honest I do not have AIM logs from a transaction that happened nearly 4 years ago.


All I can say , is that I have never recalled an account unless it was for good reason, and in this thread , yes it is clear that I recalled PayPal , but after having the account recalled from me I tried numerous times to contact the original owner with no response. I then did what I thought was necessary.
In hindsight it was not handled 100 % correctly by me but by no means is something that was worthy of a lifetime ban.

Since then I have had numerous transactions with users Stangsan50
Snowy , mmo armory , vbarrack , all without issue. Even in the past when I was on markee dragon , I never had any issues at all , until the one in question. Why would I randomly out of the blue decide to recall an account that had very minimal value compared to the dozens of,other accounts I had a hand in.

I purchased the account , had it recalled , I tried to,secure it by what I thought was required , and was,not going to pay for an account that was trying to be taken from me. If I did not recall funds , what would.prevent the OO from recalling until it would inevitably be locked/closed and only be retrievable by himself (OO)

I was told I would be unbanned if I repay the person I had the dealings with.
In all honesty , if,I contacted him 3 years later and offered him $200 , who is to say he would even forward that fact on to anybody? Why would or should,I pay someone who I believe was in fault in the first place?

If someone can prove to me that this person did not recall his account and I acted out with malicious intend , I will gladly use a middleman to,reimburse the funds he is out or compensate him with an account of equal value.

I just do not see what I should have done differently short of responding,to,my private messages sooner on markee dragon

If you look at the old markee thread , what is done that was so wrong? In hindsight I should have kept AIM logs where I attempted to resolve the issue using markee forums and moderators prior to me recalling my paypal payment , however given the limited timeframe I had to file a paypal complaint , I did not have the luxury nor could I afford to lose $200 by waiting it out to see what could have been done by moderators on markeedragon.

I did not check my private messages nor did I know that the scammer thread was made for me at the time , until of course it was too late and I was banned. I tried to contact a moderator back then regarding the issue but was told I had a chance to respond and never did ( due to the fact I did not even know there was somethign to respond to)

I would like to say that I have had many deals with NJ/DayTrader and all of them so pleasant that we have formed a mutual enough acquaintanceship that we do talk almost daily. I trust him enough that I would give him any log in info just for him to play a new toon. 3 years is a long time, if his recent activity is anything to go by, then I do believe his side of the events. He has made numerous purchases from some very highly/long time members and all have worked out fine. I dont know if my vote will anything at all to do with the outcome of this decision, but my vote is 100% reinstatement, even if mistakes were made or "jumped the gun" on decisions, 3 years is a long time to grow up and become a great member of the community.

I greatly appreciate you saying this in my behalf. When i once began to come back into the mmo trading world , stangSan helped me out greatly. I was unsure on how transaction worked after taking a long break from buying and trading as the whole initial ban from markee dragon left me with a very sour taste in my mouth. Initially I did not know that epicnpc is a continuation of markeedragon. By starting over fresh I did not realize until very recently that I was violating terms by creatingmamnew account. I just thought it would be a fresh new start to leave all the BS behind me in the past. Since this new start , I have never had even close to a negative interaction with anyone I have had the pleasure of meeting on this website. I actually encourage all of those who have dealt with me to please,come forward and talk about what kind of conversations and dealings we have had.

koolguy would,be another example,of someone who if contacted can comment on our transactions and how,I deal with accounts.
More or less , he felt regret over trading an account that I ended up getting. I added mists deluxe,expansion onto,said account and found out later he was regretting trading it away to another fellow. I heard about this and decided to give the account back to him deluxe expansion and all as I know,how it feels to miss out on account you truly have an attachment to.
I guess these are actions of a,person who recalls PayPal pay,emits out of the blue for no reason at all just to be a spiteful *******.

Also feel free to contact Stangsan50 and ask him of all,our dealings what his take,is on how,I view,the epicnpc forum and what it means to me.

Currently,user that goes by aim baps4life312 has my rogue account with legendary daggers. The person had negative on feedback and wanted to buy my rogue. Instinct would say no,way in hell but I could tell this kid who,is,going to school and working part time wanted this account so bad.. I,could,not refuse selling it to him. We agreed payments were to be made in sections. I gave him the account once first pay,ent was sent. I could tell that extra money to blow on a wow account was not easy for,him to come by , so I offered,him the option to level an account for me as,rest of paymemt instead of cash.
Now that my ban happened , I gave him full control of the rogue account as I did not want him to think I was going to pose a risk of taking his account back.....that's what the really part is about all of this. poopr guy is scared ****less thinking I am going to rip him off when all I,want to do is make the kid happy by getting an account he has always wanted. I mean come on $150 for a legendary dagger rogue,with 4 pieces,of,heroic gear , max professions and a very well,geared palladian and a 84 Mage all with max,professions is,truly one of my evil plots to scamm people of,their,money.

If I wanted to do that ,would,I,have not tried,to sell it to someone for the max going price for,the account and to someone who could smoke,payment all at once?

Please also add into consideration purchases made recently from Snowy epicmmo , accountwarehouse , mmo-armory , vbarrack a few times. All without any issues,at all.

Awesome , so far all I have heard is " Sorry not looking into something happened 4 years ago". Pay the guy his money back or you are SOL.
So only option is to contact a guy that tried recalling an account I purchased and say :
"Hey man , remember me from 4 years ago? You accused me of stealing money back from you. Anyways heres $200 that you do not deserve as you tried to recall a wow account from me , oh and can you be a pal and tell a mod at epicnpc that I didnt scamm you after all k thnx , peace!!"

if the system is to lazy to try and let a good trader come back, then i dont know what to say about this site. i know other more dishonest people that continue to scam on a regular basis just get new IP's or a new router and make new account after new account. im not saying thats what you should do at all though. thats just what every repeat scammer that seems to get away with does.

My initially response to this matter was for Daytrader to pay xcess303 $200 to get unbanned. However I then restated that if he is able to come to an agreement, whatever that may be, it doesn't have to be paying him $200, then that would be acceptable to me, but I'm putting it in xcess303 hands since it was his dispute thread that got you banned.

Feb 22nd - xcess303 sold you a wow account, which he was the OO of
Feb 23rd - WoW account is transferred
March 25th - WoW account is transferred
March 25th - Payment dispute
March 29th - Payment is reversed
March 30th - Dispute is opened on MD

So on March 25th while on vacation you had time to notice the WoW account was recalled and to file a dispute with Paypal, but didn't have enough time to contact xcess303 about it? Your story doesn't add up. xcess303 was the OO of the account, so if something happened to it you should have contacted him and not dispute the Paypal payment.

That's as far as I'll go re investigating a 4 year old dispute. If you want to get unbanned, contact xcess303 and come to some agreement. I'll unban you once xcess303 tells me to.

I did look into the dispute and sent daytrader my findings, which are above. Daytrader has already admitted he handled the situation wrong, which is good, but that doesn't change the facts of what happened.

You are now claiming xcess303 is the one that recalled the account back from you which is why you filed the Paypal dispute, however as this is a 4 year old thread, that is impossible to determine. How do I know you didn't get hacked? How do I know you just didn't want your money back?

Again this is 4 years old and those questions are now impossible to answer.

So my only recourse is to let xcess303 decide. He was active a few months ago and I gave you his email, so I would suggest contacting him and coming to some sort of agreement. I think that is a fair opportunity to get unbanned.

Sorry , but please when referring to what dress presented l do not call them "facts"
Everything is,presented form. His side,of,the story in a manner that is viewed as most damaging.

What is missed,in all of this , is,that I ,did try contacting him numerous times , but with no,luck.,HERE is where I handled,things wrong. At the very first sign of trouble,I should have reported it on markee. However I thought I,could handle,it on my own. I took it personally. When an account is recalled , first reaction is the OO took it back or it got hacked. But after the OO is hard to get a hold of and tells you he is in Asia anD only has a cellphone for texting...I had to file a,PayPal dispute,prior,to the dispute window,closing. I,waited as long as I could to hear back from secession but with no luck. A battlemet account was attached to the account. A hacker could,not,have done this back then when bnet was just being rolled out.

I would,not have had time to go,through the proper channels,by posting all this on markee because who,knows how long a decision would take to be made. By then I would have no longer been able to file PayPal complaint. I took it personally , the attempted scam of the account and did what I needed to to,protect it . After he made a post about me saying the crap he said above l I did not even know it was written about me until after my account was closed.

I tried to,email a,mod outside,of the website. It took weeks,to,get a response. Finally the one mod I was dealing with left the website, so,I would,have had to,start all over,through the process. A prospects where it wasn't me telling my side of,events , it was a,process,trying to defend my actions as imwas already guilty and trying to,prove I was not.

I understand it is near impossible,to look into this 4 years after. What else is impossible is to,ask,me to,pay or reimburse this guy something when I am still in the belief he tried stealing from me. Paying him is a,double,whammy for me as it looks,to others like I am admitting guilt , as well as handing over money or an account to a person who,I believe is the one who,should,be banned or,facing reprocessing l not me.

So more,or less, I will contact him , and short of,a miracle,where he admits his,wrong doing k I guess I am screwed,out of an account forever.
