Unsure where to put this. So I guessed this forum.
Hi all,
First let me greet the Trust Who company with open arms. I love what you are doing, and I plan on making the best of this service.
I want to first make a point on saying I hate scammers. We all hate scammers. But this thread isn't here to hate on scammers, but more here to educate you on a new service I plan on releasing soon.
One of the worst things ever is to give someone virtual goods and them do a chargeback on you. When you get that, 99% of the time, the seller will lose the case as a digital good or digital locker is impossible to trace if it was shipped or not. Alot of buyers do whats known as "Unknown Transaction" chargebacks. These cause the sellers even more grief as the only way you can do anything is with a footprint. Almost impossible.
Thus, announcing the new site.
-----
Soon, DigitalTracker, (Title pending) will be ready for beta testing. How does it work?
First, both the buyer and seller must register on the site prior to sale.
Next is the exchange of the monetary value.
The seller inputs the information into the fields and is given an access key that is sent to the "input of buyers email". This access key is a 24 hour use key. During this time the buyer will have access to the website containing the information. The information is displayed for the buyer when the correct code is used from the buyers email.
Ok ok, so how does that protect the seller and the buyer?
------------------------------
Seller:
Tracking tools to show if the key was used, server logs that show xxx user from xxx IP logged in.
A geo-ip Map, that will create an image of the users login point. VPN's and Proxy read throughs using a reverse DNS and hostname lookup.
FULL Hostname, IP, Macaddress printouts.
**The information will be stored and allow you to place the case number of the chargeback and it will automatically be emailed to Paypal**
(NOTE: This is the only verification that will show logs of the user and who accessed it. It will allow paypal to see real documentation of a server that tracked digital who picked up the goods) IP, Map of location, with xServer support for paypal to check there own logs of login access points from there site.
BUYER:
Tracking tools to show if the key was used, server logs that show xxx user from xxx IP logged in.
A geo-ip Map, that will create an image of the users login point. VPN's and Proxy read throughs using a reverse DNS and hostname lookup.
FULL Hostname, IP, Macaddress printouts.
A complete PDF rip of what was sold to you for legal documentation as well as a reverse lookup for legal in that area *Thanks to 411*
--------------
So does it work?
YES!, we have tested the system out on 14 individual cases and the 14 scammed chargebacks remained in the hands of the seller.
We are currently working with PayPal to try and get some sort of support to allow us to be the main market/trader for Online trades that will be a semi-official market trader for digital tracking.
The reason I made this thread was to let you know, we all hear your plea's from scammers. We think we may have the solution.
If you are intrested in helping this project and are an expeirianced PHP coder/MySQL programmer, or wish to donate to help some of the funds needed for the SSL servers please contact
