I sold my warrior here and quit WoW a while ago, but I want back in now. I'm trying to buy a decent account for a decent price but there's a problem, I have no feedback and all the good deals won't even look at me. My question is how can I make people feel more secure selling to me. Would dealing on the phone or through voicechat work? Does TrustWho work?

trust who verification would suffice in this case. however, if you do not wish to go through the hassle, you can go through one of the MANY retailers here on markeedragon who will happily take your business.

e.g.

nsxgaming.com
thegamesupply.net
k4gaming.com
gamestorage.org
kcjaccounts.com
etc with many more out there. just browse around the buy sell trade forums located on the main page. look for DARK blue names - indicating a trust who verified store owner.

good luck!

I left that out under the assumption that most people would know that already, but ya, best thing to do as a new user is not to scam and get yourself bad rep/negative.

Im guilty of this in the past myself but the people who say "no rep? just registered? SCAMMER" are the people you dont want to deal with, because they are most likely to screw YOU over due to the fact that they are completely ignorant fools.

I am in similar boat as the OP.

I actually found the trustwho verification process far from being a hassle, it is more a reassuring boon too me.

Though how long is the process supposed to take after I submitted my ID (after I got the call)?

Thank you all very much, and thanks OP for making the thread so I don't have to :P

For me once i e-mailed the ID it was less than an hour and i got my e-mail back saying order complete. Once you get that e-mail just make sure you are verified by typing your e-mail in the "Is this person Verified" thing on the TW site and you're good to go

Most of us started out with no rep or feedback; infact I wasn't Trust Who Verified until several months ago.

I got along by giving out my personal info, and being picky on who I dealt with.

I would actually have to try to get scammed for it to happen, when I have someones confirmed name, phone number, and address, I dare them to scam me. That should go for anybody, get their info and 9/10 they won't scam you, and if they do they're cooked.

Thanks for the advice. I try to be more trusting then I should. And like I mentioned, I got burnt by a professional site because of it

Is it okay to leave my phone # to a seller in a PM to him/her about his/her account? I am kinda weary of spam calls
